Found this while searching for an UST projector.
You can also obtain price match by quoting the $2999 price from Digital Cinema (I have tried with HN and JB, both worked)
However I am suspecting these single laser source UST projectors are getting cheaper as the Tri Laser technology is coming.
Samsung The Premiere Laser 4K Smart Projector $3495 (RRP $5995) + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ Harvey Norman

just did :D Thank you
truthteller is telling the truth
Appreciate the price-match checks
I got interested and searched for Tri Laser tech, they all appeared to be much more expensive but i have found some cheaper ones called Jianguo N1 Ultra. Does anyone know this brand?
Cue “3.5K not 4K jokes” etc
4k for 3.5k absolute bargoon
could have been a 6k projector!
Can you share a bit more please?
I haven't done enough research to know this lolPun on the $dollarydoos
Reminiscing the OzBargain price discussions
Not $4090 for RTX 4090
party like it's $1995 RTX 30-series
$3090 for a RTX 3090Ohhhhh i thought it was about the resolution being 3.5k haha
Can these be viewed anywhere before purchasing?
my place? :D
Host of next OzBargain meetups confirmed
I'm coming
I've got a case of cold ones
Someone bring popcorn plz
You might try the Home Cinema outlet in the Nunawading Home Maker Centre (it is opposite JB)
All of their setups are horrible.
Not properly adjusted, very bad lighting.
None of the projectors look decent there.
I am actually surprised manufacturers let them display their productslike that. After I properly installed and adjusted one of these UST projectors at a friend house she was surprised by it looking better than the store even without a screen!
Same price at JB HiFi as well for $3495
https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/samsung-the-premiere-lase…This or the recently posted Hisense Pl1h for $1995? Quite a price difference, is the extra $$ worth it?
I am battling too :( someone come and end my misery please)
Hisense is 2100 ansi and Samsung is 2200.
Both Single Laser tech…
But Hisense is 3 years warranty vs. 1 year from SamsungIts too hard haha! Also a good $1500 cheaper for the hisense, makes me think the hisense is the better deal. No decent videos on it though!
this Samsung LSP7T need 30cm away from the wall for 100"
Hisense need 40 cm away.
and the new LSP9T only need 10-15 cm awayI remember saw hisense Pl1H needs to be 31cm away for 100 inch, similar to LSP7T
100 inch at 31cm, 80 inch at 21cm if this spec is accurate
Why not post the deal for the cheaper shop that you mentioned km the post?
They were banned from OZB for sockpuppeting
Does it do 3D?
I don't think so sadly haven't come across a 4K laser projector which can also do 3D.
There was another 4k laser that went from $8k to $4k is that better
I got this, LSP7T, more than 1.5 yrs back, really loving it. I dont have ALR screen, but 4k quality on 120" normal screen is almost similar to my samsung 85" 4k TV.
Paild almost the same price with some promotion & 1500 cash back ( usual price at that time was 5999).which ALD UST Screen did you get?
So tri laser will be brighter one ? Can be watched in reasonably well lit room ?
Yes, but you'll be wondering why the image is still washed out for the price…
It will come down to the suitable screen.
So technically speaking, one will need to invest in better screen too 😩!!
Yes. I use a similar short-throw projector and against a wall… and have used the triple-laser version of this projector on a normal projector screen…
…though the ALR screens make a noticeable difference.
Highly recommend getting a screen. I use one with my Optima P2 which is brighter and it improves a lot.
Hisense L9G 100" set for $4500 will be a better purchase in my opinion.
You will need a screen anyway if you want high quality image.
I got the L9G120 set after I sold my Vava Chroma set and have been continuously amazed by the quality differences.
My friends also have Formovie+ XY screen and Samsung LSP9T + vividstorm screen and I recon the Hisense and Formovie produces the best images.
The Hisense screen is vastly better than the others in term of built quality tho.
Need to put the price in title
