Best Debit Card for Everyday Banking?

I currently have two debit cards:
- one for everyday banking (OSKO enabled, no-ATM fees for the 4 major banks, 0% annual fee with monthly deposits)
- an HSBC debit card for 2% cashback on paywave purchases.

I'm starting to think I'm not getting the full benefit of my everyday banking account as there's no rewards program or anything else special.
I also already have access to Comm bank rewards, but not sure if there are any others like it.

What's the best non-HSBC debit card available that can do the stuff i mentioned above and more?

Rewards card debit cards are very few. HSBC one of the best for that.

But founder scott, best transaction account =/= debit card benefit

Like I wouldn’t use macq card at woolies because i cant do cash out, but will use for ATM withdrawal and also leave cash sitting in account (gets interest)

I don't think there's any other Debit card that has 2% cash back like HSBC. Sure the app is crappy and the internet banking is horrible, but for me at least the cash back negates all that, personally I'm up to $682 back in the few years I've had the account. I personally don't get why Up is so popular, part of me thinks it's because it's a "start up" that has a large following on social media. I have an up account but when their rates dropped I stopped using and they've never come back to being competitive like many others, and transactions accounts are a dime a dozen these days.

    • how do you see how much in rebates you have to date.

the 2% rebate is free coin the way I see it. I transfer $400 a fortnight to it and use it where ever I can. Get funny looks from woolworth staff etc when I ask to paywave $99 on hsbc and the rest on another card

      • Mobile app: within your Everyday Global account > Everyday Extras
If it doesn't load (old bug), X out then immediately click back into Everyday Extras.

  • If you want a rewards program that isn't pure cashback, you need to get a credit card for all the online purchases or purchases above $100 that don't get cashback from HSBC.

    ING. No international fees

  • I'm surprised there's not much mention of Westpac. With the partnership with shopback and its benefits, wouldn't it be up there?

  • There are many good accounts: what are you looking for?
Bankwest Qantas Transaction Account - Qantas FF points
Virgin Money Go Account - virgin velocity points
ME Bank - no fees, ATM fee refunds.
Macquarie Bank - no fees, ATM fee refunds.
    Ubank - no fees,
    UP - no fees,
    Suncorp - no fees, 9 sub-accounts
ING - refund international fees after meeting the monthly prerequisites.

Not much of interest from the Big4, as usual.
