Nice, Amazon allow me to set the system to see whether it suits my living room, if not I can just return it

    • Exactly why I prefer Amazon for everything. i had a bad experience with JB hifi returning a brand new sound bar which i opened and tested and didn't like how it sounded in my living room.

    • Too narrow for living room, works well as PC speakers though which is what I use mine from the last deal on.

    • Where is that mentioned please? That's exactly what I want!

    • Got the unit today thanks once again to Amazon’s delivery speed!

The whole system was easy to set up, they even provided HDMI ARC, digital optic and aux so you don’t need to get anything extra.

I just plug in the subwoofer and it automatically pairs to the sound bar which I connected it to my TV using hdmi arc.

I have a 4.4m x 4.8m living room with a 55 inch tv and the sounds is amazing for the price that I’ve paid. It can go really loud and the bass is adjustable.

The sound does fill up the entire living spaces and thus an ‘artificial’ surround sound is created but you can still tell that the sound is coming from the front.

Not too sure if you can pair bookshelf speakers to create more surround sound but for me, this is more than sufficient.

      My rating:
      Sound: 4/5
      Bass: 4/5
      Price: 5/5
      Easy of set up: 5/5

      Overall: 4.5/5

      • Got mine too yesterday and i really like how it sounds.
I love that the dialogues have a bit of bassy weight to it in the movies, makes me feel i am in a theatre.
If you want the 3d spatial effect for a wider sound stage just leave it in sports mode.
I tried all the modes and sports mode was by far the best sounding and room filling.

  • Bought it for $199 from Home Audio Sales…really great sound for the money! Discovered that stream-casting audio via wifi is pretty flaky but connecting it via ethernet solved the glitching issues.

  • How can these companies get away with advertising surround sound on soundbars? It's not possible with the speaker in front.

    • Not true surround but phasing and delay algorithms to make it sound like a 360 degree experience . Remember you only have 2 ears… your brain does the rest…

  • Would this be alright for linking to a projector in the backyard?

    • I mean, it probably beats the speakers in the projector…
You won't really get any surround sound effect going though, as it's outside.

  • Thanks OP. Got one

It really bugs me that sound devices have to add “voice clarity” technology because of (profanity) up audio mixing decisions made by movie studios.

If it’s a selling point for speakers that they fix incomprehensible vocals, maybe that’s a sign to MIX THE VOCALS BETTER

    • I feel like it used to be way worse with movies made in the early 2000s and up. I get so frustrated when it's whisper-quiet dialogue and loud with other sounds.
