Only my third deal you'd think I was on thirty,
deals so good, I got these _______ thirsty.
How'd you fill that blank, I hope you're not a misogynist, or maybe you're just a biologist, gynaecologist or even a scientologist. Whatever you are this is the lowest ever price according to camels
and that's why I have all these female mammals on my social channels that wear flannels.. when it's cold.

Seriously though these oil pourers seem pretty good, same price as the size down. More details:

    I use these Roll'D Spicy Hoisin Sauce | 375mL for $6 @Coles instead.
It's pretty fantastic sauce, and when it's empty, you have a free bottle, and it's still $1 cheaper than this deal. It might not be as big as the OXO, but I'm fine with that.
And let's be honest, our lives would all be better off a little saucier! And the world would be better off with one less plastic bottle.

These are pretty poor quality when I last bought them

      Dishwasher safe?

If that works for you then that's fantastic and I have done similar till now using recycled Masterfood 500ml sauce bottles. I've decided to give the OXO ones a try as the Masterfood ones have done countless refills to the point of being no longer useable.

      • i think there's a huge disconnect with many people paying $7 to get an empty bottle

be that as it may, kmart always has a selection of cooking bottles inc. glass ones for less than this

    • Sriracha bottles are good as well, but you often can't get rid of the labels/prints clean.

By good I mean it's solid plastic and a precise tip.

Those are some hard hitting verses, OP.

If you cook a lot these are awesome. Super squeezy which I like.

If you are after the bigger ones, BigW have the Decor version - 1L and 250mL versions for $2.75 and $1.62 respectively in comparison

  • Are we using these for oil?

    • Yes. I have one for olive oil & one for regular cooking oil.
Although you can use it for sauces / dressing etc..

    • Work great for oil. The lid is in two parts which keeps the oil from leaking.

  • ikea has 2 for 2.5 AUD. its only 330ml & no stopper

    • Stopper is somewhat important

  • Does anyone know of any that are microwave oven safe? Just for heating up sauces, not cooking or boiling them.

    TIA

    • You would normally just put them in a hot water bath for heating up, I wouldn't recommend microwaving any squeeze bottles.

Just boil a jug then drop them in if you are lazy and the bottles are clean 😅

These are great for putting powders as well. I use these for powder dishwasher detergent. It is much cheaper to use than the tablets, and you can squirt a teaspoon’s worth into the pre wash compartment. This price is a bargain!

    • I might need to try this

    • What powder do you use? I normally buy the cheapest one, so at Aldi, and it already comes in a smallish plastic bottle, which is unfortunate, but easy do dose.

      • +1

Me too! I use the Aldi Logix powder that comes in a blue bottle. Works out to be around $3.60 for 8-12 weeks, doing one load a day; I only use one teaspoon in the prewash and one tablespoon in the main compartment. Works well for even baked on cheese and spaghetti. I decant the powder into this squeeze tube, and it's easier to dose small quantities, compared to pouring straight from the blue bottle.

  • What would be the downside of this one from for $1.75 at Kmart in comparison? - https://www.kmart.com.au/product/sauce-bottle-clear-42692171…

Honestly they'd do the job, but the lids become annoying, the pourer isnt as nice, and there's no built in measurements

They last basically forever so I'd say it's worth the extra couple $$ in this case

    • +1

The plastic on the OXO is more flexible, so easier to squeeze and rebounds easily back to original shape. Also, the cap fits well, clips on and off easily. The plastic on the Kmart one is stiffer.

    • If your hands are fine, then Kmart will do the job. People seem to forgot OXO is still a company that focuses on products designed around people with a disability. In a product like this, much higher quality, thinner material would provide easy use for the person. It may be just a sauce bottle to some, but I see patients all the time that cannot pop a pill out of a sheet or open their medicine bottles due to rheumatoid arthritis. This is where OXO products shine

I can confirm these are great, the hinged stopper mechanism means theyll never break from overuse like the shitty compliant ones.

I've been using them for oil, homemade mayo, sauces, everything that tastes great but comes in an annoying glass bottle it's been a game changer

  • is this bpa-free?

    • Yes BPA free
