- LEAD ELITE RAINBOW SIX OPERATORS IN CO-OP OR SOLO PLAY - Pick from 18 of the Rainbow Six operators that are best adapted to survive the incursions; Each operator has a specific set of weapons, gadgets, and abilities to learn and master; With each mission completed, your operator will level up, boost their stats, and gain access to new loadout options and powerful combat perks
- RISK IT ALL IN UNPREDICTABLE CONTAINMENT ZONES - With a selection of 12 uniquely designed maps set in four regions across the US, featuring procedurally generated challenges, enemies, infestation, and increasing difficulty, the dangers are unpredictable and constantly evolving; The deeper you go from airlock to airlock, the richer the rewards, but the greater the risks your squad will face; Those who fail to get to an extraction point will find their operator MIA, making them temporarily unavailable for future missions; The only means of recovering an MIA operator is to mount a rescue in one of the submaps before the parasite takes them over completely
- FIGHT A LETHAL AND EVOLVING ALIEN THREAT - The Chimera parasite and its evolving Archæns are highly lethal sentient organisms; Face each of the 10 parasitic archetypes, from the vicious Spiker to the elusive Tormentor and the summoning Apex. Survive the Sprawl, a flow of self-aware parasitic tissue that spreads over the containment zone, altering the ecosystem surrounding you and ultimately giving the advantage to its native Archæns
- CROSS BENEFITS - The game will support cross-play and cross-save between all platform families on day one; Play both Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction to unlock the game’s entire roster of 18 operators in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege; Players will also unlock elite United Front cosmetic bundles in both games

Agree with @dreamstation. I have played Extraction via Xbox Game Pass and it's a decent game. It has a very steep learning curve at the beginning, but once you get over that, it's good. According to Xbox's My Year in Review, Extraction was my 2nd most played game of 2022 at 160 hours.
Did you play co-op or solo? I don’t have any gaming mates so would be playing solo.
It has matchmaking so you can play with randoms. Did not run into any toxic players while playing.
I play both - solo, or co-op with a friend.
On Xbox, it's a bit difficult to get a matchmade session.
Did you have crossplay enabled?
@dreamstation: Yes. Doing Anthill or Maelstrom, I hardly ever find anyone to match with. I will sit in the lobby looking for a match for 30mins. Same with my friend.
For anyone looking to play this solo offline, note that there are no AI teammates, so you're completely on your own, just like in Rainbow Six Siege. I curse what Ubisoft has done to the R6 franchise…
Pretty sure you can't play offline anyway, I thought it was always online?
Haven't had any issues finding real people to play with as it has crossplay but they could have added bots I agree…
My bad you're right, this game can't be played offline, it's always online.
Thanks all. Might give it a miss.
I posted this in the comments section of a previous deal: I bought Extraction recently for around $11 and it's actually not a bad co-op game despite what the reviews say. I didn't play it at launch so maybe there were issues back then but as it is right now it's good decent fun.
