I was checking out Boxing day deals and bumped into this. Bought the 512GB for my switch. Cheaper than Amazon.
Here's the link to the 512GB

Not sure what you mean by crappy deal. Amazon's current on deal on the same item is more expensive. I've checked Officeworks and JB Hifi, they're more expensive as well.
If there's a better deal for the same item, please let us all know about it?
What I meant is that it's already not properly available as most of centrecom deals
Agree with dosada, bait seller.
instore only
Oh.. how did you know? I was paying, it did give option of delivery for a fee
128gb only available for pickup in Auburn, NSW. No delivery
Geez.. almost all sold out, 5 mins after I posted this O_O
There was never any sufficient stock, it's typical Centre Com behaviour
512GB still in stock apparently
Avoid giving any money to Centre Com
They don't honour the prices on their website and attempt to weasel out of deals with this disclaimer at the bottom of every page:
Centre Com reserves the right to not make a loss
Check this deal for the most recent example
Well, they've charged my card and processed my order, we'll see..
However, I think the disclaimer about reserving the right to not make a loss applies to almost all sellers?
If you receive it, enjoy your SD card
The neg is not against you for posting the deal, it's against the retailer's poor practices
Thank you..2 negs on the deal just because it's Centre Com?
Avoid this dodgy company!
Come in store we probably have 3 available but won't pickup our phone to put on hold! See you soon! Oh sorry it's sold out. Would you like a Kingston 512gb for a lot more?
Ok.. didn't realise there's a lot of bad experiences from Centre Com.
So what's the community's take on deals that might not be honoured (price error, dodgy company, etc)? Don't post it until proven?
I think it's fine to post it, people can neg and explain why. Then people can make an informed decision. If you were to post after knowing there have been issues, you could add it to the post as a warning and for people to buy at their own risk.
I just picked it up from Nunawading store.
I must admit I was a bit nervous when it took a while for the status of the order to change from picking to ready to be picked up. Even then I was skeptic until it was in my hand.
Lucky I guess?
Crappy deal from a crappy seller. As everything with a decent price it's sold out.
