One of the top rated Switch games at the previous all time low. Rated higher than games like Persona 5 Royal at metacritic

A lot of the negativity can be summed up as
"NOT BETTER THAN ZELDA 😡😡😡"
It got review bombed because for a brief time it was the highest rated game ever on Metacritic. Ocarina of Time has been at the top for more than two decades, so this drew a lot of attention, both good and bad.
It highlighted a big problem with MC in that it doesn't use a Bayesian system. So a game with only 10 reviews can be considered the best game of all time if all 10 of those reviewers gave it top marks. Being a niche game, only fans of the genre would even bother reviewing it, which will naturally bias the review scores it gets.
If it was reviewed by video game publications, it would never get scores like that because it's a visual novel, not a game.
I have read the VN btw. It's much loved in the VN community, though I personally think they overrate it.
How would a Bayesian system help?
@Jonty766: it prioritizes those with more ratings over those with few ratings, for more reliability. If we didn't use it, and a game had a single reviewer, and they gave it a 10, this game would be the #1 highest rated game of all time. For OoT to match it, every single reviewer would need to give it a perfect 10. If it had a thousand ratings and one of them gave it 9.9, it would not dethrone the game that had a single rating of 10. Obviously the game with 1000 ratings, 999 being 10/10 and 1 being 9.9/10 is the better game.

Interestingly, Metacritic of this vs Persona 5 Royal (Switch) has:
* less critic reviews
* a large quantity of negative user reviews (0–4)
