How much does this cost in total? $3590 or $3890?

    • $3890 after the SolarVIC rebate & loan!!

  • Keen to know how much this would cost with just the federal government rebate and no Vic rebate or interest free loan.

    • +1

$5290.00 after the Federal STC incentives!

Links to bigger deals don't work

    • Thanks for letting us know! It's been updated. You can find it here!! 10.37kw & 13.32kw

Can you share the details of 13.32kw with install on gable 18 degree roof on double storey.

        3 phase power into house

        Cables to be run internally.

        Fronius inverter

Imo it's a bit misleading to advertise the price after the Vic rebate and loan

    • Thanks for the feedback! We did mention the rebates in detail.

      • +1

I meant in the title…i notice it's still up there

  • How long would a setup take to pay itself off generally?

    • +2

For me it'll take at least 10 years.

The expensive part of electricity is the daily supply charge.

    • +1

@Bafranz - When you enquire about solar, most companies ask you for a copy of your most recent bill. They look at your daily average usage and the amount you pay.

From there the quote that comes back gives an indication of payback time. Like everything, it's an educated timeline based on averages but it gives an idea.

I wouldn't trust the solar providers payback projections.

When I've had quotes done they have been overly optimistic on the payback period.

Most quote around 3-4 years which is very attractive.
But realistically it was 10-11 years for me.

If you can get both government rebates, then it'll be much better.

Also worth checking or asking neighbours, if you can actually export any power. My distributor has been approving new installs for 0kw

      • Yes! It depends on the electricity distributor. However, you can apply for the manual application if the export is 0kw

    • If you're paying $100-$150 on your electricity bills per month, the payback period is approx 3 to 4 years

  • So I'm only up for $3890 after all rebates have been applied?

    • You're right!!

  • @AndySolar Hi Andy, I sent an email this morning but didn't hear back. Really keen to get a quote cheers

    • Replied back :)

  • Someone suggested Risen ( P-type conductor ) panels are better than the Jinko Panel ( N-type conductor ) . Is that true ?
Also how does Sungrow inverter compare with Fronius and Growatt ?

  • I disagree! N-type panels are more efficient. N-type silicon allows for higher efficiency, less degradation over time, and lower energy losses. This leads to more power generation and higher performance over the panel’s lifetime.

Fronius is a premium inverter, Sungrow sits next to Fronius in terms of performance. Growatt is an entry-level inverter.

Please email me at [email protected] for any other questions you may have.

    Cheers
