With all the tablet deals I share I often get asked about 8" Android tablets. Unfortunately they're not really manufactured anymore, however I have found this to be the best one available with decent specs for less than A$150 if you really need something in this size. Otherwise many of the 10" and above tablets are better value.

Given the specs this isn't designed for high end gaming (e.g. Genshin Impact) but will be fine for the more lower end classic games, emulation, general use, ebooks or even something like a cheap Home Assistant Dashboard. For reviews there's this in Japanese showing it in action.

      Yes, I agree! I gave up on 8” android tablets, not many good ones around. The one here it’s ok I suppose, but the screen quality doesn’t seem great especially compared to the alldocube.

    I have already bought my smallish tablet (Samsung A7 lite) but I would have loved to have this option that time, especially because A7 Lite display is too ugly to watch movies with.

    Very tempted to though, smallish tablet is a delight to use, light and easy to hold for small hands like mine.

    How does this one's display compared to Samsung A7 Lite?
