On sale is Alldocube's latest Android tablet and really good value if you're in the market for one given the specs. Especially considering the iPlay 40 with similar specs typically sold for around US$170. It's more than capable for gaming, emulation, general browing and videos.

Featuring Android 12 with Google Play, 10.4" 2000x1200 IPS display, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage (microSD support up to 2TB), UNISOC T618 Octa-core CPU, 6000mAh battery with USB-C, 4G LTE with B28 & Dual SIM, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, metal body and dual speakers.

The most obvious downside of this tablet is that it doesn't have Widevine L1 so there will be no Netflix or Prime HD. In terms of updates Alldocube released one earlier this month and will often release a few for their iPlay series.

  • What’s the newest platform it can successfully emulate? PS1, N64, DreamCast?

i got this lastime for 139 aud delivered for the 64GB version. its very good for the price. Screen is amazing and well worth. not sure i'd pay $44 extra for 64gb though given it has a micro sd slot

I agree with you, I also got 6gb/64gb and I’d rather save $40 since you can pop in any micro sd up to 1tb. I has a brand new Sandisk 128gb (bought during one of the ozbargain deal for $10) and now have lots of storage .

      • Can you install apps on the sd card?

        • Yes, I installed as extra tablet storage. Just moved Magzter and Netflix to sd

  • Bought during Black Friday. I got 6gb/64gb and put in a 128gb micro sd. Amazing for the price, very well built and super fast!

Same processor as the Samsung a8

    • Fraction of the price and more RAM so it won't be anywhere near slow. Samsung really screwed up with that one.

  • does it have Display out?

    • +1

      No sadly.

Let’s remember this is a very cheap tablet. For its price is very fast, well built, has dual sim, micro sd that let’s you download apps to it. Light, headphone jack, amazing screen.
I would have loved Netflix hd, external display out and better speakers. But for under $150 (I paid $135 for 6gb/64gb during Black Friday) it’s impossible.
Comparing to the iPad 9 which I own it’s as fast for normal browsing, shopping, reading, videos. I don’t game so I can’t compare for that.

  • I'm looking online for an 8" tablet. Saw the Alldocube Smile 1 or the Blackview Tab 6. Pretty similar with the 3GB RAM and similar pricing. The battery is bigger on the Blackview. What do you guys think? Any other suggestions? I want to spend under $150

    • +1

I wouldn’t buy a tablet with only 3gb, worse screen and very heavy (smile 1 it’s heavier than Alldocube iplay 50). Black view it’s lighter but less ram and worse screen for more money.
In the end I just went for this Alldocube because there aren’t any decent android 8 inch around .

      • That's exactly what I was after. Thank you for the advice. I've got an old Samsung 8" tablet and I've taken all the apps off and it's so slow. I just like the half size as it's smaller to travel with. I might do like you said and get one of these. Huge battery on the iPlay 50
