    • +3

Its not for everyone but for those looking for in stock iphone 14 pro max.

    • -2

The lack of storage and no SD cards is a feature, so you'll have to go and buy more storage on iCloud. Apple customers are complete masochists lol.

      • Yeah right!?
Crazy lol. Pay more to pay more

Tell me what is the pre-requisite for a deal to be posted on OzBargain?

IT MUST BE A BARGAIN..!! RRP is not a bargain.

      • You do realise the purpose of Ozbargain is to let people know about BARGAINS and discounts. Otherwise it's just advertising.

    • +1

$2 off the gold iPhone PM.

    • +11

      yea what is this OzRRP

      • -5

Popularity is what making this RRP. Guess it will be gone couple days anyway

        • -1

Guess it will be gone couple days anyway

and then more will arrive shortly afterwards.

That does not make it a bargain.

  • +2

Better to buy it with Jb hi fi gift cards !

    • +2

    🤣🤣🤣

  • +2

Not really much of anything the purple 128gb pro max was in stock yesterday when I had a look, stock levels change very very frequently.

    • I was looking to buy deep purple but came across this instead

  • Not a deal, just in stock.

  • When is come to Apple products, even at RRP, it is a bargain! I am glad that I am not a genius, just an ordinary people looking for real bargains.

    • Not paying this price is one step towards being a genius

  • +6

    There is no deal

  • +3

That’s what I say to my girlfriend when she finds I’ve liked a racy photo on Insta. “Oh I like all photos - didn’t really look at that one…” 👀

  • +4

Paying RRP and still didn't get the colour you were looking for?

  • +5

Reason for posting according to op is that it’s in stock and therefore it’s a bargain? Lol

  • +5

    RRP is not a deal.

  • +4

    LOL,
OZRRP at it again with the deals!

  • +2

Looks like we have an iPhone in-stock checker.

  • +5

Not a deal at all. Some variants could be ordered from Apple and pick up today

  • +5

You know who also has stock? Apple haha Can literally pick it up today if i wanted one.

    • -2

Nope, 1-3 weeks delivery, 14 pro max 256gb black.

      • +6

Can you not read? i clearly said "pick it up"

        • -2

Cant you check? Not available for pick-up in all 9 Sydney stores

          • +3

@nuker: I did before i made that comment. The 256gb in black is available at Hornsby store.
Though before i made that comment they where available at the Castle Hill store but i guess that just sold out.

  • +1

More negs than plus means good commentary..

    *Sits silently with popcorn

  • +4

    It’s not a deal.

    • That's already been established for the hundredth time !

  • When did recommended retail price become a bargain?

  • -2

It is a deal because stock. Apple has no stock themselves.

    • My local apple still has stock. Regardless officeworks is the same price (cheaper for non gold) and the gold is in stock and can be ordered online now.

      • -1

No stock any Apple store in Sydney

        • Hornsby and Penrith do (selected colours)

        • Yeah I saw closest for Sydney is Charlestown so it’s not ample stock aus wide. Officeworks have some in stock around Sydney though (Bondi Junction, Penrith, Alexandria, Liverpool as examples)

  • +4

    no deal

  • +4

too cheap for apple product i only buy when its OVER rrp
buying rrp or below will make my finger itchy when touching it

  • +1

$2100 for a phone. iPhone users who upgrade every year are different breed of stupid human.

    PS - Username Checks Out!

    • -1

Samsung aren't too far off those prices , so what's your point ?

  • +1

You do not get discount on new iphone.

  • +1

No discount, but it is more about finding the stock. Apple stores, JB, Goodguys, Officeworks and other retailers does not have any stock and minimum expected wait time is 3-4 weeks. Noticed some JB hifi stores get stock some days but store only get to know when it arrives, so you have to be quick to grab.

15% TCH GC offer was the best, i used that to buy it at much better price.

JB at werribee and Melton have Pro deep purple stock at of now. But stock goes very quickly.

    • +1

Apple has some in stock here at Carindale.

    • +1

Actually Apple stores have at least 1 colour variant in 256gb available for pick up in all states except TAS and NT

  • +4

This is ozbargain. It's for bargains. Not for advertising.

  • +1

    What a grill …!!! lolz

Having finally bought an iPhone (the silver one of this spec) after years of android and being a Mac user since 1986, I can say it just is not worth the ridiculous price. There's nothing wrong with it, but considering it's twice the price of something like a Pixel Pro 7 and is pretty much the same unless they're in some kind of down to the nails shootout, it just isn't worth it. Agree with the others - this is not deal worthy.

If you have any sense you'll be putting it in a case so it doesn't matter in the slightest what colour it is.

These are really good. Feel very nice in the hand:

    • +1

I have google pixel 4xl and i hated it

      • The one thing you could say about android phones is it's more of a crap shoot. You might get a good one, but you might also get a rotten one. I had a couple of early Galaxy Notes which were fair, but nothing great, a later one was ok, an Oppo Find X2 Pro (the same), best was a OnePlus 6.

You're more likely to be happy with an iPhone (apart from what you paid for it) and I do find they last longer before needing replacing (based on friends and clients use). I'm counting on this 14 Pro Max lasting quite a few years.

Oh and very little (if any) advantage being a Mac user having an iPhone instead of android. There are plenty of apps that work fine Android to Mac. Some better than the Apple ones. For example I prefer the Google calendar on the iPhone, which works fine with the calendar app on the Mac.

The one really noticeable thing (after the Oppo) is the sllooowww charging. Hopefully it'll benefit battery longevity.

  • +1

You'd think at this price it would include a case, screen protector & 45 watt charger. But no. :/

  • +4

    Ozbargain = RRP? Hmmm..

  • +2

Not a deal. Wait for next gen

  • Ripoff taking advantage of Christmas rush… shame they just release stock now 2 days before Christmas.
