Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection assembles thirteen classic TMNT games by KONAMI in one incredible package. This collection provides a unique opportunity for gamers to experience these immensely popular and very influential games on modern consoles and includes a fantastic set of new quality of life features. The games are based on the characters and themes based on the 80's children's cartoon and comic book series, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The game often takes place in a fictionalized New York City, in the sewers, inside futuristic enemy bases and even across time itself!

After going back and forth a lot I've decided not to pick this up

I'm pretty much the target audience - played the originals and heaps of nostalgia, but I think this is one time I'd regret going back to them and would prefer the memories instead

    • It's still a fantastic game

      • Oh yeah I don't doubt it, but I know I'd be playing it to chase those moments I remember rather than taking each game at face value

Very happy it's available for those who are keen on TMNT though!

        • +3

Tell me you at least did Shredder's Revenge? That one definitely doesn't tarnish memories :)

@stealth: I'll be keen to play that at xmas with the kids

    • You're missing out! I started off with the Switch version ($49 from JB on release) and have since got it on Xbox ($42 digital), PS4/5 ($38 digital) and pc ($27 digital). My main loves are the 2 arcade titles and the first NES game. The others are a bonus. I've run through TMNT and Turtles in time multiple times since launch.

      • You'll have to enjoy it for me!

        • +2

I shall smack Shredder around as Donatello just for you!!

        • +2

Cmon man, buy it! You know we all want you to.

          • @jirskyr: See I grew up with the TMNT Arcade game, played it EVERYWHERE. Multiple videoshops, Rollerama in Victoria, Multiple Time Zones and cinema complexes.

            Liked the NES version.

Immediately got it on the 360 when the XBLA version came out. The Cowabunga Collection is my dream come true.

Not once have I thought it was dated. Still fun (short and sharp gaming). Playing Shredders Revenge just made me pine for the original game :P.

I have all the nintendo online controllers, NES, SNES, N64 and the mega drive controller.

The only controller that you can't map the controll properly on at all is the mega drive controller for the sega versions of the games, other than that everythign works.

  • Seems like it's sold out already

    • Yup all gone on Amazon.

I did say get in quick

Sold out on Switch but still cheap on ps5, xbox one

  • Is it multiplayer between switches? and do we need to purchase two to run on both switches? I know I could rtfm, but you guys will know off the bat.

  • Looks like other formats also on sale at JB.
I have a PS5 and would like to get this to play multiplayer with my son. Only issue is that I have 1 dual sense controller and 1 dual shock.
From what I can see online the dual shock will work when playing PS4 games but not when playing PS5.

Might sound like a stupid question but if I buy the PS4 copy and then do the free upgrade to PS5 will the dual shock work? Probabbly not I know but it does seem a bit stupid that the PS5 version isn't compatible with the dual shock in a game like this which is cross gen.

  • Is Mbappe in the game?

  • Thanks for the post SpeedRunnerLink, got a copy from JB Hifi.

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge (Switch) is $39.95 at The Gamesman.
Can get Price Match at JB HiFi.
