  • Good way to blunt your knives.

  • can confirm this item is great.

I place the knives in with the blade facing up to save the blade & is safe as does not poke out the top. Very handy organiser & give back a lot of space (also have the matching cutlery organiser)

  • Do they sell the accompanying knife sharpener you'll need from constantly dulling the blade with this useless thing?

I refuse to buy anything J&J anymore after their absolutely useless product "spirogo compact hand-held spiralizer".

Overpriced and doesn't stand the test of time.

    • I have several of their items and totally love them.

  • Wouldn't mould start growing inside??

    • +1

Not if you dry your knives first

    • +1

Bamboo is better, Plastic and moisture do no good. Easy to mould

      • +3

Moisture? I'd hope you clean and dry your knives before putting them away.

Do people really put their stuff away wet?

        • only their peepee and hohhah!

    • If you have good knives, you should dry them first before storing it. It will help it retain the edge from rust even if SS
If you don't have expensive knives, probably will just grow mould

    • Run it through the dishwasher once every 6 weeks

  • Damn. OOS while I was thinking about it

    • +1

In stock at big w for the same price.

  • Nah! Use magnets instead.

  • This is awesome - perfect overflow storage from the knife block. I save magnet strip for other utensils.

I have one and don’t think your missing out on much with this being OOS.

Knives don’t fit well in this so it’s a good thing it breaks easy so they fit a bit better. The cutlery organiser is alright though.

  • IMO these type of knife blocks are far superior: https://www.amazon.com.au/Kitchen-Precision-Knife-Set-22/dp/…

I'd just get as many of those you need to hold all your sharp knives.

(not that particular one - there are lots in this style, that one is just a random one I found quickly)

Edit: looks like woolies even have something to offer: https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/133287?reg…

    • to hold all your sharp knives.

They won't be sharp for long using that

      • I've been using mine for around 15 years - works perfectly and does not blunt my knives - certainly no more than typical use.

The "spaghetti" is round/tubular which do not have hard edged and they move apart to make effortless room for the knife.
