Normal price … Referring to comments in https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/734131

    • Every time this gets posted people do a run on them, then it's out of stock… messes up up subscription :(

    • Still being upvoted through the roof. This reminds me of a story a few years ago where a huge number of people were taken to hospital because they bought lemon detergent on sale thinking it's lemon juice. They were so excited that many just bought it and drank it before realising their mistake.

ozbargain weird that gets 9 upvotes and this gets 142

  • is this brand better than Quilton? Quilton are 24 pack for $25.

    • +1

I found the Quilton 4 ply significantly better than these

      • Agree… am a Quilton supporter

        • +2

Quilton used to be good but the new batch is very poor breaks with small amount of water. Going back to Viva….

Only the ones with green label from woolworths are better. Do not get the 4 layer one it's rubbish

      • +4

I found the Quilton 4 ply significantly better than these

        Until it gets wet…

        • +1

          Can confirm https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/quilton-absorba-4-ply-t…

This particular product I was about to file a complaint to Quilton themselves but i bet they were going to just refund without addressing the issue

          • @neonlight: I feel like the quilton 4ply has like a sheen to it which doesnt feel soft/absorbant.

          • @neonlight: I bought the same offer and they were terrible. The reason being the 4th ply was only loosely attached to the other 3 sheets and flapped about.

    • $22.50 with S/S.

      Quilton way better

  • +14

It's been this exact same price for months and months… No deal…

Also the 6-pack is normally sold for $8 at Woolies…

  • +1

60 sheets per roll. Saved you a click

  • +1

    no deal here.

  • Aldi are $1 a roll

    • Aldi are on a roll

    • +5

Sure, but then you’ve got to go into an Aldi and get stuck behind someone with enough in their trolly to feed a small town.

      • +2

enough in their trolly to feed a small German town.

        fixed…

        • +2

          danke

  • +1

    Damn was $10.80 last year.

  • 24 quilton pack for $22.50 is much better value.

    • +4

      Not if you want Viva…

      • Or if you have too much wet area to wipe

  • Any reason this would be better than the version that is 2x length per roll for double the price?

    • Nope.

  • What's the aldi one? I tend to find they often compete with Costco even.

  • +2

can someone explain to me how this is a deal when woolies sell it the same price:
    https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/573468/viv…

    • +2

S&S and free delivery with Prime

    • +1

It's not a deal (normal price here), but yeah it's better than Woolies as per above.

  • Get handee 8pk double length for $20

Better product (softer but same absorbency and strength)

  • Same price per sheet as the 8 pack at Coles or Woolies.

  • -1

Just a PSA : Phone books are a frugal alternative to paper towels. Just tear off several pages, scrunch it into a ball, and use it for quick and easy wipes.

  • Kirkland brand is the best paper towel imo

  • +1

It's not back. It didn't go anywhere. It's not a bargain. I demand a bargain!

  • +1

    Also, I have a question.
What happens if one subscribes, but come the day, it's twice the price?
Do they just charge you what they want?

  • I still think Quilton is still better (way softer) and better value too at $10.80 with S&S

    • Not better but softer

  • Normal price.

  • Select a size is better value anyway since you use less as if anyone even buys original vivas anymore that's not a bargain. Bruh brain cells go pow
