How to access the Westpac Lounge:

    This is not good.
    Since last week or so, almost every attractive deal is exclusive to Westpac customer and nothing for general shopback users.
    I am not a fan of the Big 4 banks, so let's make it clear,
    NO, I won't join Westpac just for shopback deals.

    Perhaps shopback should learn from cashreward.
    They usually offer a slightly higher rate for ANZ customers without excluding others at the same time
    e.g. 15% for general members and 17% of ANZ customers.
    I have to downvote the Westpac marketing strategies.

    I don't understand the neg on this deal. Are people so entitled to neg this deal just because they don't have a westpac account? That's like saying "I don't have a switch so I will neg all switch game deals".

    If you have an issue with the title e.g. westpac should be at the start instead of the end, then use the report feature as per guidelines.

    Only mods can mark a deal as targeted. This is also done via report. Personally I do not believe it is a targeted deal but it is stupid to neg over that.

    None of these negs are warranted.

    So many people having a whinge here. If you're not a Westpac customer then just move on. Westpac have a new partnership with Shopback and thus these promotions. I didn't see so many people whinging about ANZ and CB or latitude credit card deals. Like cmon geez it's like the world revolves around you folks and you're entitled to everything in the world.

    Does getting westpac flex (credit card) make you eligible for these deals? That's probably the only way to have access to westpac deals I can think of without paying anything annually or monthly (as long as no outstanding amount on the card)

      Hey hey! The 2% in the Lounge on eBay is for purchases online on the eBay Australia website that use your eligible linked Westpac card, it's not available for for Gift Cards generally at the moment. Keep an eye out for gift card offers in the Lounge though, we're just getting started.
