What does this mean?
The product has been approved by the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration.
The details in the ARTG are different to that of the product pictures and details. Or is there something I’m missing?
@Chipokae: From a quick search of the information on TGA site, the following is correct:
Sponsor: Xode Pty Ltd
At Amazon checkout, the item is Sold by: "Xode Pty Ltd"
Manufacturers: Guangzhou Berrcom Medical Device Co Ltd
The "Kidz & Bellz 3 in 1 Digital Thermometer" is just a rebranded Chinese Thermometer manufactured by Berrcom
@RichardL: @RichardL Thanks for going that extra kilometre and working it out. Appreciate the technical expertise. Just checked it myself too and yes, Guangzhou Berricom was listed as a manufacturer.
Does it work on adults as well?
"for Adults Kids & Baby"
Some of the reviews say it’s inaccurate. Sketchy..
All laser thermometers are inaccurate, get the in ear ones instead
technically they're accurate to a degree :-p
but yeh, they're probably not accurate enough to use clinically….ok for other uses
Accurate to a degree….. Hmmmm….
You can feel a fever by touch. Just use your hand - nature’s thermometer.
Bought one, with the idea of ‘touch less’ - to take/monitor temp of kids overnight whilst they’re asleep.
Works well so far, accurate as I can tell. Still have the in ear as backup.
it's back in stock south of 30 dollars if anyone's interested.
