These look bad, but aside from the look, the design seems poor. I searched out a review to see whether there was anything I missed, but it also called out the obvious negatives.

The price is good, but I'd go for a more traditional bike glove design - cheaper than the regular RRP - than one of these.

  I have two sets of these gloves.
  I like them because they fit my hands extremely well, look decent enough, and are unpadded.
  For the (current) price, they're a no brainer IMO. At RRP, you'd surely find something similar for cheaper, or better at the same price.
