how do these compare to the Milwaukee demo. gloves?, you should also put the 3 random sizes that are available. medium, 2xl and 3xl.

  • I haven’t personally used the Milwaukee Demolition Gloves, so I can’t compare directly, but Ive only heard good things about the Milwaukee demo gloves

As for sizes, we only have Medium, 2XL, and 3XL left—the rest have already sold out. We have some XL remaining in the Rough Cut Miner Gloves, which you can see here:

Are these good for gardening? My cherry tomatoes are ready to pick

  • Do they sell good gardening gloves? Surprisingly difficult to find good ones unless you spend heaps.

    • +4

I bought a pack of these https://www.southeastclearance.com/products/handy-works-mult… about 10 months ago. The gloves are a bit stiff at the start but really soften up after only a few wears. I used them for gardening, paving, general handy work - everything basically. I've only used one pair to date and its still going strong, no holes (with 4-6 hours use a weekend, washed them a few times) so I'll probably be dead before I get through all 12! But at about $3 a pair they are a bargain; of course you have to take the risk of paying $40 odd and hope they suit your hand and size

Anyway, they arent delicate gloves for picking tomatoes but good for the medium to heavy activity.

Aldi have some lighter work gardening gloves that are pretty good - I think they must have stocked them in the last few weeks as I saw some in store today (but clearly leftovers). They look like these https://www.facebook.com/HorseFixAustralia/posts/forget-thes…

      • I agree - those ones are awesome. I've also only gone through one pair, have given half of the others away to family and friends.

    • Trimming heaps an overgrown spiky poisonous hedge the day before. My middle finger is swollen and hurt still some.

  • They look alright for cycling. Thoughts?

    • +1

If you stack your bike, you know at least you'll still be gripping onto the handle bars or that at least your hands won't get cut up.

They don't have the padding on the bottom of the palm where you usually rest like usual cycling gloves do so keep that in mind.

      • I don't care for much for comfort, but more so if I fall or scrape against something.

    • It would protect your hand in case of falling I guess

      • That's what I was thinking. Not so much for better grip, but for when I fall off.

  • Any waterproof fleece lined gloves available OP?

    • Sorry not at the momment

  • I've been landscaping with rocks and tend to wear through fingers fairly quickly. What do you suggest?

Seems to match this description: ROUGH CUT MINER GLOVE

    • The first number under the EN388 rating is the abrasion resistance 1-4, with 4 being the highest. So at a minimum look for gloves with 4xxx stamp on the label.

      • Thanks. I never understood gloves had a rating.

  • Under EN388 the cut resistance rating is a 1-5 scale, so these gloves are mid-range. I'd wear them for general gardening and home maintenance work, but not for jobs involving blades that you want true cut resistance.

  • I was going to pay the same price for 1 pair of ironclad how are these compared to the similar specced

  • Are the Kevlar gloves good for riding motorbikes? They sound similar enough to Kevlar jeans. Thanks.

  • Hi @DIYcharcat - I just bought some gloves and applied the code GLOVES but after paying, noticed I was still charged a shipping fee?

    • Thanks for your email, please DM your order number & will have the team sort this out :)

      • DM-d thank you!

  • Much cheaper than CS2 gloves

  • Thanks OP - Tossed in a pack of 100 nitrile gloves too. Seem to be considerably cheaper than where I normally shop!
