  • Just FYI it has been as low as $134.00 before on Amazon.

I suggest if any of you buying 750W, move to 850W in case you are planning to buy a good CPU or GPU in the future as both are becoming more power hungry by the year. It would be easy for the PSU to handle transients on some bad cards.

RM850 price has also dropped to $169, deal updated

    • i definitely have buyer remorse after recently purchasing and not spending the extra $20 for the 850w. build was getting expensive so tried to cut costs but really whats $20 in the big picture.

I too have a 750 seasonic and the worse part is mine is 2018 model and is susceptible to transients. So I need to be careful choosing GPU/CPU combo. Else I need to sell and upgrade to 850 that handles transients well.

        • Its always fun trying to make a good combo and then not spend a fortune. I kept upgrading since there was some deals, but then it was pushing up too much, then things went out of stock and i was chasing prices at other stores, so hastily purchased and now regret big time. An 850w would have covered a decent gpu upgrade before needing to do another build and definitely would have run quiet. The 750w probably just covers a gpu upgrade but its going to be loaded and a lot more noise.

          • @gdbaker81: You can literally Run a 4090 and a 13600K/7900X/7800X3D with lil down volting and essentially keeping the performance almost the same. So its not bad after all as long as the PSU can handle transients well.
