So I have some gift card credits on Doordash. I proceeded to check out an order with gift card credits which failed for some reason. So I clicked the 'Place Order' button again which went through just fine. However I noticed that my gift card balance went down by twice the amount of the order, i.e. the first failed checkout must have deducted the full amount from the credit.
Apparently the Doordash support 'cannot see gift card credit history' so there is nothing they can do so they just close the chat….
Anyone else have this happen before? Any luck getting money back?
