Was looking for my partner's christmas gift and came across this. The item is currently on discount if you don't mind the color of the hairdryer.

Coles is doing a promotion on The Iconic gift cards at 15% off ($100 and $200). https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/744614

$500 worth of gift cards for $425. $9.15 gonna needs to be paid via some other way. This works out to be $434.15.

(Mod note: no explanation was provided on how to pay with multiple Celebration Gift Cards to achieve the saving.)

My GF has one of these. They’re excellent. I’m sure there are plenty of reviews out there anyway!

  • What about an air wrap vs this?

    • As a gift? I’d say this. Can be used for more things?

      • Is it not just a hair dryer but a wrap is both?

        • I would say it depends on what they want to mainly use it for.
From what I can tell this is a dryer with different attachments for drying while the airwrap has attachments for drying but also curling hair.
My partner has the airwrap and loves it.

        • Come on mate, surely you can google for the answer to a question like that? And a better quality answer than any of us could likely give you.

    $500?…i just use a towel?

  • The gift cards are visa cards in $100 and $200 denomination, won't be able to buy a $500 item with it.

    • Use these to buy iconic gift cards via their website, then apply multiple?

    • Agreed.
I bought hair dryer during black friday sale and paid with ultimate everyone variable load (10% off at woolworths). Also was able to get cashback from cashrewards.
There's only one credit card place to enter one card.

      • So you can't stack them and can only use one gift card per purchase?

        • Found out the hard way you can't use the vouchers as they need to be enough for the full purchase and can't stack them

          • @darcy07: Can you buy iconic gift cards with these cards?

            • @itsme56: Assume it's a 1 to 1 as in 1 celebration give card worth $100 will get you 1 iconic gift card to value of 100

      • I filled the ultimate gift for HOME card number in the credit card place, it doesn't work, not sure how to fill in the expiry MM/YY though

  • Back in the days these were sub $300. Wish I had gotten one

just shave the head and save 500

    • I don't think my partner would appreciate that.
I'll try when she's asleep, less resistance.

      • Can't wait to see you trending in tictok

  • For that kind of money I hope the power switch is better than the one on their vacuums.

  • Think I saw a supersonic copy on Ali express if anyone is willing to roll the dice

    • Got a refurbished one for $300, best purchase.

      • Where did you get the refurb from? I think catch we’re selling refurbished unit for 429…not that much of a discount compared to this deal…
