Was dreading having to consider buying daughter the Barbie dream house that she's requested from Santa (~$200!) When we passed this in Woolies and her eyes lit up. Still vomit worthy plastic crap but far more affordable and this is a solid deal to boot. Plenty of stock in different Woolies that I've seen and online.

  OP if it helps to know my 2 kids played with the overpriced dream house for many many many years, and recently sold it for some bank. Got it on special for $150 (back in the day), sold for $70. I think the height/width was a big factor in longevity, smaller sets ymmv.

  Maybe consider a used one?
