  • How much do you normally sell this for?

    • +2

It has an RRP of $309 and our usual sell price is $269, we have been running them for a few months on a sale at $199 but until Friday we are clearing them out at $129

      • we have been running them for a few months on a sale at $199

It shows here your previous price was $159 and not $269 or $199.

        https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:uFxtBm…

        • The $159 price was only live for 3 days. But we have decided to go a little harder to clear them

            • +12

@jv: I outlined all pricing I thought necessary, not that I forgot a price that we had for a couple days. I also had the price at $149 for an hour this morning as well if you want complete transparency.

When we are working out deals we try different prices, the sell price for a long period of time was $199 and I'm sure you won't find a price online that can beat that for this item, so this further discount down to $129 is pretty decent.

              • -7

@elichu296: If somethings was selling for $159, and you are now selling it for $129, that is a $30 price drop, not $140.

                • +8

@jv: In my original post I only stated that this was a guitar for $129 (Awesome Deal), I didn't try to mislead anyone with any information about discounting or savings. Our website shows the non sale price (not RRP like many other sites) and then marked down to the sale price. That is the way it was developed.

When you asked for the normal sell price in your original comment, I answered with exactly that a normal sell price, not prices we mucked around with for a couple days.

So in response to your original comment, the normal sell price I would say is $199.

              • +8

@elichu296: No shortage of idiots on here, best bet is to not waste your time and just ignore them.

            • +15

@jv: well done you cracked the case. now go outside.

              • +3

@Laserface: Lol! Exactly what I was thinking! But @jv does ozbargain hard! Had my popcorn out reading the responses from the store rep; good on @elichu296 for answering the questions in a civilized manner!

                  @goldiep:

                  does ozbargain hard!

                  Is there any other way?

              • -1

                @Laserface: Case will be extra

Perfect for onstage guitar smashing at the end of your gig

    • -3

I have a few spare air guitars for that…

      • Have an air “bdum tish” for your efforts:

        🥁 💥

  • Is this good for a kid who wants to learn electric guitar? How much with a basic amp with it?

  • +1

Any similar clearance deal on an acoustic guitar?

  • Any reviews on this? I don't need another guitar (said nobody ever) but this seems like a no brainer for the price.

    • +2

Perfect for airheads then. I'm sure Bushemi, Fraser and Sandler would all approve.

    • I don't think you'll find many positive reviews on this brand of guitar.
The low price is just a reflection of the quality of this bottom of the barrel guitar brand.

poor service from these guys - wouldn't recommend it.

    • Hi, can you please direct message me your poor service experience, I would love to see if I can help in anyway.

      • +1

My flatmate got your guitar bundle from eBay promo and still haven't got the free tuner & lessons that was said to be included. Its sitting there catching dust

    • +1

      Care to elaborate?

    • +2

Belfield has been great every time I’ve bought stuff. It’s great shop. No fuss and super friendly.

  • +2

I dunno. Platinum is quite heavy.

  • When's the TOD10N coming in stock?

    • If we are lucky we may see some in Mid 2023, a lot are presold.

      • Damn. Cheers

        • +3

did you know that you can play the same overly technical, soulless noise that guy plays on literally any guitar?

          • @Laserface: And that matte black finish with no pick guard will look shit in no time and that classic style headstock looks bloody weird IMHO.

            • @Muzeeb: While I simply dont like the guy responsible for the signature model because his music sounds like an AI generated not picking machine, the actual guitar seems like it is different for differents sake rather than a well put together instrument.

its a nylon string electric semi acoustic with an ugly inlay.

I mean i know the market for signature instruments is beginner to intermediate teenagers who worship these guys but its a very odd guitar to want outside of the name recognition.

someone is selling this exact guitar for 599 secondhand on gumtree

    • Broden?

  • I was thinking of buying this but-

"I got my first real six string,
bought it at the Belfield Music shop,
Played it 'til my fingers bled,
    Was the summer of 22"

    doesn't really work.

Seriously though OP, if I added the amp and cable you linked to would it all be delivered free?

    • Free delivery on orders over $50

    • +1

Haha, love it. Yes delivery on any orders over $50 is free.

      • Cheers, thanks I just ordered it. My neighbours are gunna hate you for having such a great deal on a gee-tar : ) .

        • LOL and once you get that gee-tar you're gonna hate the dude that sold it to you cos it's a piece of crap that ain't worth half of whats it's selling for.
          :)

My flatmate got your guitar bundle from eBay promo and still haven't got the free tuner & lessons that was said to be included. Its sitting there catching dust

    • +5

You can download accurate free tuners on your phone and heaps of free lessons online to get you started.

Sounds like your flat mate is procrastinating for no real reason other than $10 worth of useless shit missing from their order.

      • No Muzeeb. Don't think she needs help googling things online. Just keen to find out what is INCLUDED in the purchase, which seems to be a struggle. But hey thanks for your judgement :)

        • +1

So why would you not play a perfectly usable guitar because of some cheap and nasty tuner and some lessons that can be found elsewhere?

          • @Muzeeb: What is this "cheap and nasty tuner and some lessons" that you refer to? that is the whole point? when we know what it is, we can see if its useful or not. still waiting for the seller to say what it is.

            • +2

@randomdude14: If you purchased a beginner's guitar kit the tuner is just a cheap and nasty $2 tuner. Honestly using the fender tuner app on your phone is probably more accurate. The lessons will be how to play a few basic chords and hold your guitar correctly. There are infinite resources on youtube that show you this and more.

              • -1

@Muzeeb: thanks. we did tinker around a bit and used guitar tuna for the trial period. wanted to find what some with the pack in Monterey brand. if it's like a subscription for a decent app like tuna it is awesome. just wish if the OP could help clarify it once and for all.

  • +1

    Can this guitar djent?

  • +2

i have this exact guitar with a maple fretboard. I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner or anyother level player. the pickups are low output and noisy. The finish and quality is below par. It feels like palletwood in your hands.

unplugged it sounds like shit as well. Spend a little more and get yourself a nice Squier Tele.

  • Them monterey guitars make good campfire guitars……

You just drop them and they'll smash into kindling which is great for getting your campfire started :)
