        not only future updates. there are a lot of features not available they put a number of different apps which is bullshit.

        this app is too pricey for its functions. it's only 30~200 aud for lifetime license but this is too pricey lol

                @HolyCr4p: If that's all it did I would use it. It wants to look at every website you go to to look for trackers and change your search engine. I already have a browser to do that.

    The most recent update to LuminarAI was in March 2022.

        Last night when I checked HotUKDeals (the OP's original source of this offer) it stated "this deal expired two hours ago" and the offer was greyed out. Given that everyone seemed to be having issues getting a serial, I assumed that was the reason and posted the comment. I've just checked HotUKDeals this morning after seeing additional comments and they have updated it and are now say it's running until 11th January.

    Gee they really ride that AI buzzword horse hard. The description sounds like a marketing University project.

    Image editing normally requires skills because you intend on achieving something particular that you need to know what/how to do. It’s like fixing something, or doing art. These guys seem to reduce that and make it sound unnecessary, because, AI.

    Luminar, or Skylum at least have a habit of creating a decent program and then quickly moving onto their next big version of the program instead of fixing the issue with the last one or at least, making it even better. I get what they're trying to do but it's very annoying to those who invested in their software to move away from Lightroom and the Adobe subscription model. Is it better than Lightroom? In a word, no. In some ways yes though. I probably prefer the layout in some respects but there's less catalogue control like you get with Lightroom. And clearly less LUTs and filters etc. and certain things like watermarks are cumbersome (at least on Luminar 4). But it still works. And I still don't have to use Lightroom which is a win in my book.

    Side note: these guys are based in Ukraine and because of that, they've not been able to update recently and I honestly don't know what's happened to them since the war started.
    I would still recommend their software and especially their Aurora HDR software too. Luminar was the last of the "non-AI" ones and honestly, I love it. It could be better but it's still excellent. Hope that helps.
