  • Not many units left guys, so if you are still thinking about getting one you might want to think a little faster.. :)

  • I ordered mine 09/07, had the CC issue so had to bPay it (thanks for offering bPay guys :D). That cleared on the Wednesday, unit was shipped Wednesday afternoon, and arrived in Adelaide on the Monday (16/07). Overall for a first NASI'm quite happy with the unit. I have put 4x2TB drives in it and have had absolutely 0 issues setting everything up.

Only complaints are transfer speeds can be a bit low (~15MB/s) and the unit occassionally likes to sound like it is gearing up for take off (eg gets rather noisy at random times). For under $200, I would recommend this unit (based on no comparisons against other units however).

    • if possible. try setting your switch or router port to 100Mb FD for the NV+, might give you a few MB more.
think sometimes auto-negotiate doesnt work quite right and speed is degraded.

  • Guys - Can you please remember to put in the notes section when you place your order "Ozbargain Deal", as we are having to credit / refund freight from orders due to this not being done.

    Thanks for your understanding.

  • Mine was delivered this morning. I was one of the people that forgot to mention Ozbargain and had to request free shipping via email.

Also ended up doing the BPAY thing after CC apparently didn't go through. Prompt delivery seeing as my payment would't have shown as cleared until yesterday.

  • Does anyone have a list of compatible hard drives with this unit? Sometimes special RAID edition drives are required otherwise there's a risk the drive will time out of the array. This is especially true with RAID 5, where a timeout, and then another timeout during your rebuild (which can take hours) renders all data corrupt.

  • Sorry guys all the RND4000's have been sold and all stock has been allocated to current orders. Unless those customers don't pay for their order we will unable to be able to get more in.

    • All I need now is a great special on compatible HDD's ;)
