    I don't understand why NordVPN doesn't just lower their prices. Why is it constantly 95% off…. to me it completely devalues the product, and makes negative suggestions about their business model.

      Because constantly 95% off gives the business a chance to re-raise or lower the discount level later.

      It's easier to start with a high rrp and discount it, then remove it, than start with a lower RRP and raise it later.

      The perceived value is higher with a higher RRP.

    • The real question you should be asking yourself is by what means are Nord covering their costs if they’re continually almost giving their product away for free…and is that the kind of company you want to trust with protecting your privacy?

      • That's always been my concern. If they charge you pennies… they gotta be making that money back elsewhere otherwise they'll be out of business soon.

        I'm a firm believe that "if you're not paying for the product, then you're the product"

    Always get confused as new customer meaning NEVER been a customer ever or can be “new” again if signing up after expired subscription

      IF you have Gmail this might help, you can 'make' a new email address at any time by adding +word into the address eg. [email protected]
      This will also help you identify who leaks your email address

    • Nope you won’t get the Cashback. Happened to me and my last sub to nord was 2 years ago.

      • So if my nord subscription recently expired, can I sign up with different email but with same card? What is required to be “new customer”?

        • Diff email possibly I'm not sure. I foolishly used the same email address with autologin.

    • It's not 95% off all the time. Regardless, even when it is, I know people who have paid full price. One needs to know about these deals to begin with, Many people don't bother checking and happy to just pay full price.

          Please check your CR acct in case the email went missing. If it hasn't tracked, please cancel. I'd hate to see you missing out on such a large cashback amount if they decline the claim.

          You have a 30 day money back guarantee with Nord. Cancel, use a new email address at Nord's end, and this time use the CR app via 4G/5G as per the tips/instructions in italics in the OP. Let us know how it goes. Thanks.

            When you say check my CR acct in case the email went missing, how do I do that? At the moment I can't see it in my "Click History" so I was just going to report a missing claim after 7 days if it still isn't tracked as this was pretty much the only reason I signed up for NordVPN in the first place.

            Yeah the 30 day money back guarantee is the last resort. I did use the same email address for both CR and Nord when signing up (first time signing up with Nord), but I did use a YouTubers affiliate link (https://nordvpn.com/pricing/creator/) so not sure if this makes a difference or not after signing into CR with an InPrivate Microsoft Edge session. With this affiliate link you get 4 months free and $2.88/mo on the 2 year plan.

            So yeah too not sure what's gone wrong here, cheers!

              @freshj1ve: Hi and thanks.

              What I meant is to check your My Rewards page. If the transaction is not there, it hasn't tracked.

              However, you've answered the question as to why it hasn't tracked. The YouTuber will get commission for the transaction, and not Cashrewards. Even a claim will fail as the sale will not be attributed to Cashrewards. You must only click via the CR link on the CR app and buy. Anything else will fail.

                But I guess that would explain it, I'll talk to NordVPN and see what we can figure out as currently they are faster than my previous VPN PIA.
