Bano Payid Transfer to St George - Waiting over a Week

My wife transferred just over $1,000 from Bano into St George last week. The payid that was used was her mobile number.

Bano said the funds cleared and I should speak to St George. St. George are saying they can't see anything and I need to contact Bano.

Any idea what to do? Bano has been drip feeding info and wiping their hands clean.

Latest responses are being ignored from Bano.

Don't see a phone number either

Ok I am getting somewhere with Bano. They are issuing a trace and recall of the transaction. Can take 30 days so see how it goes.

  • I would've thought PayID is close to real time.

    Can you double check the PayID phone number is definitely associated with the St George account? Maybe it's still linked to an old/different account.

    It is retarded in the St George app. Only shows the last 3 digits.

    PayID you can't just make one up right? Needs to be an email or phone number?

    I just need to know from Bano where it went.
