Reviews for chemical guys wheel cleaner are pretty bad - I have been using bowdens own wheely clean and a microfibre cloth

      • You been happy with wheely clean? Are you able to compare it to Meguiar's Ultimate All Wheel Cleaner?

        • Both are notorious for being worse than acid. I use them both but for the price not worth it. It still leaves brake dust.

I now use nanolicious wash and a chubby brush and get 10x better results

@[Deactivated]: That's subjective as to how badly you let your wheels get dirty and the pad compound you use. Agree Diablo is not good for cleaning extremely dirty rims, but for all the cars I clean and maintain (either ceramic coated or waxed wheels, washed once a fortnight to once a month) they come up very easily. Diablo is probably more of a maintenance product then a wheel cleaner I guess. If they are seriously dirty and Diablo doesn't clean I'll get out the IronX

I bought a toilet brush specifically for cleaning wheels, it’s a great, cheap way of scrubbing them without having to get your hands covered in brake dust (I have pretty precious hands courtesy of dermatitis). I don’t scrub too hard though and never had any scratches on the rims doing it this way

Product wise it’s normally the last of the soap and water however of they are caked on with brake dust and dirt I use Duragloss wheel cleaner

if i understand correctly, you use a toilet brush to clean your tires. Do results vary depending on the types of poos you were doing prior?
