argh - I got ripped off when I bought Fallen Order on sale the other month for $7.50 !!!

    • +18

Definitely considering it was free on epic last month.

      • Think it's been free at least a couple of times.

      • +2

Are you getting mixed up with Squadrons? I can't find Fallen Order in recent Epic freebies.

        • +3

I think it was on Amazon Prime.

      • +4

It was free on Amazon Prime not Epic games

  • +1

Dang, no ME:LE discount despite it being $30 on origin.

    • +2

It is included on PS Plus this month if you want to/can play there.

Mods are better though. All the uncut content restoration mods make the PC version the best.

Last time I played, I was able to get Tali and Legion ASAP in Mass Effect 2 and got to see their unique dialogue and reactions to early-game missions that are impossible to see on the console versions, as an example.

        • Damn now I have to buy the pc version dont I?

        • There are restoration mods for LE? Or you mean the OG versions of the game.

        • what was cut?

Last time I played, I was able to get Tali and Legion ASAP in Mass Effect 2 and got to see their unique dialogue and reactions to early-game missions that are impossible to see on the console versions, as an example.

Was this in legendary or original? You had to use a mod for that didn't you? The way that game had to be restructured was a limitation of the Xbox 360 using 2 DVDs and making you swap between them. In order to reduce disc swapping, they took away some of the openness and some characters like Tali and Legion only could be recruited late. The PS3 would not have had this problem, but the lowest common denominator had to force its limitations on other platforms too unfortunately.

    Cant recommend titanfall2 enough

That timeskip mission is probably the most innovative mission in an FPS game ever.

    • +3

      Protocol 3 :'(

      • +1

        Protect the pilot 🥲

Australian servers have been broken for over a year. Campaign's a nice 3-4 hours so still worth it for that I suppose.

      • Anyone can join or host custom Titanfall 2 game servers using Northstar

        • You'll only find some servers with players late in the evening on NS (and weekends). It's a far cry from when the servers were fully functional and there were 3-4x as many aussie players at all times.

Fallen Order is a solid game but big chunks felt like a walking/running simulator - so much backtracking.

    • +2

That’s actually one of the reasons I stopped playing. Tempted to pick it up on my steam deck…

      • It actually improves in the second half but there's some levels where I got really lost. It was annoying to try and interact with everything.

    • +3

I didn't feel like I missed out on much by watching a playthrough of it on YouTube.

    • +1

Yes but it was still a great game.

      • -3

        No.

    • +3

Agreed. I was excited to play it but it was just bland. The soulsborne mechanics didn't really add much, and the skills were fairly forgettable.

    • +1

Absolutely agreed. It was tedious and the story is nothing new for anyone who is into Star Wars.

  • Waiting for Callisto Protocol to go on sale…

  • No Callisto Protocol yet?

    • +1

Give stutter protocol a few weeks

  • The Callisto Protocol is buttery smooth now with the new update, ain't it?

  • Amongst all the announcements at The Game Awards 2022 event, is a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, with a release date of March 17th 2023 for PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X.
