    Only Gen 8 onwards supports WIn 11 officially

      You can install Win 11 on PCs that don't meet all its requirement, but, as you say, they won't be supported. They won't get updates.

    @Skymstr nothing about the deal, but I'd also suggest hiding the login form at a different location (you should never use obscurity instead of security, but it can certainly help in combination with good security, especially deterring the damn bots).
    Commonly wps hide login is used as it's so lightweight.
