Maybe not my favorite of all time, but a couple years ago, a friend introduced me to Everything at https://www.voidtools.com/ which is a super fast file finder for Windows. Vastly superior search to File Explorer, but not as fast as FZF in the terminal.

I'm not into the American crap that fills the streaming media, so primarily I watch free to air TV. And I don't actually own any TVs. I run a HDHomerun quad tuner, then watch the programs it has received and have been recorded on PCs using WMC later. I don't actually watch anything live. I just tell WMC to record the news and any series I'm interested in, and any programs that look like they might be interesting, then watch them later. That way I can skip through the ads and the stuff that aren't interesting.
I think WMC was the best software Microsoft ever made. It integrated beautifully into Windows. Microsoft should have kept enhancing it for the internet age, instead of abandoning it and trying to block people from installing it on newer versions of Windows. Even though its software from another age, and its time is past, its still excellent.

I do like Phone Link app and how I can use phone with my PC, though ironically, my work phone and my work computer doesn't support it (and it would make my life 100 times easier if they did).
