Yep no comparison
+1. I once tried cooked lobster from supermarkets, and found it really tasteless.
Agree. Good only if you're doing lobster rolls as you douse with sauce.

Thanks Captain Obvious!
Good-O Woolworths
beat me to it…
I wonder if their mixed nuts bags say "warning contains: Nuts" ?! probably
What's more concerning is this lobster may contain: Gluten, Egg, Fish, Milk, Peanuts, Soybeans, Sulphites, Tree Nuts, Sesame Seeds. ?? WTF, why would it contain nuts, seeds, soybeans and egg? What a cop out
It's there because it will be proceeded in a factory which handles other foodstuffs which contain those ingredients and the risk of cross contamination will be present. I don't see how mentioning it is a "cop out" - good for those who are allergic to those foods.
better than blank
I assume these are WA and weigh like 200grams each? Hard pass.
200g tail maybe. Even a small whole lobster is much more than that, surely?
Why don't the supermarkets sell non-thawed lobster? preferably raw.
Saw one in Coles, same price
can I put this in my airfryer
Can't see why not, chuck some garlic butter on top, warm it up…
Some say they're small. really small lobster.
more like crayfish…
edit: Google tells me they are neither lobster nor crayfish.
Western Rock Lobster. Known locally as crayfish, though scientist use that term for freshwater Astacidea.

That's a very well fed lobster.
Free-range non-GMO grain fed lobster.
Cooked
Frozen
Thawed
Hard pass
well then pay more for fresh one :)
Well worth it if you want to enjoy it.
Once frozen, never the same….
Good song.
Big enough to pass as jumbo prawns.
WA lobsters are no match to the taste of Tassie southern rock lobster. Chalk and cheese in taste
Cooked Thawed Small Rock Lobster
Great for Christmas
Maybe if you were buying frozen but I wouldn't want to be refreezing thawed seafood to serve at Christmas.
Would a raw lobster tail have better taste than this one?
Big fans of $10 raw lobster tails… never tried the pre-cooked whole lobster one
Nooooooo, pinchy!!!
These are very plain flavoured. Freshly cooked is better.
