Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro (LTE, 45mm) $509.40 ($459.40 after Newsletter Code) @ Samsung Education Store/EPP/Westpac Rewards

990

Great deal for those looking at getting this watch. I believe this is cheapest ever at 40% off! The Bluetooth version is even cheaper at $479.40.

The same price is available across various Samsung EPP portals, Government store, and it's even available to eligible WestPac customers in the Rewards and Offers section!
Both colours available at these prices.

I purchased one from this deal and will now return the one I got from JB Hi-Fi after matching Amazon's Black Friday deal last week. Glad that I hadn't unboxed it yet! I hope it helps some of you. Cheers!

I'm getting $461.50 in the education store for the LTE watch, titanium grey with grey sports band. This is not including any newsletter discount. That's a damn good price - might have to pull the trigger and upgrade from my Watch 3.

    • +3

Same and same… there's even an option to trade in your old watch how tempting…

Edit: $65 trade in value for a Watch 3 LTE. Hardly worth the effort!

      • $70 For Watch 4 Active 44mm…

    • Noted that you bought it with an alternate band. I bought the 44mm with a Navy band. Received a slightly crumpled box, which had been opened and resealed (poorly). No watch strap in the package. Can only image that they opened the box to swap the straps? But this can't be procedure surely as it breaks the seal (presumably in the warehouse). That's in place to ensure you get the device as it left the factory. No potential for damage. Anyway wrote about the whole pathetic situation with Samsung chat on another thread. How did your purchase go??

  • I chose sport band it's only 431, all I need now is a newsletter code.

    • Bluetooth only?

  • thanks op- pulled trigger on titanium grey pro 5 with graphite sport band - 50$ newsletter credit - $55 tradein for galaxy watch active 2 = $359 :)

    • Where do you get this newsletter credit?

    • you could have get better value selling them on marketplace.
Butt obv trade in are simple and easy

    • I applied for the newsletter credit and haven't received one yet. You got yours quite quick

  • Would appreciate a $50 sign-up code too if anyone has a spare. I have sent multiple request to Samsung, and never received one. What is the work-around ?

    • Same here please. I've signed up for it on two emails but it hasn't come thru as yet.

    • +1

Get on the chat and tell them you have been waiting for weeks. Thats what i did and they emailed me the code straightaway.

      • +1

They refuse. Say it's system generated. Which dept did you get through to? I used the link in the footer "Support".

        • Cant remember exactly but i think it was 'sales'
Just keep trying until you get someone willing to send you the code

Yes it works perfectly fine except for EGC and blood pressure monitor. It requires Samsung Health Monitor which is available for Samsung phone only.
There is a third party mod available for Samsung Health Monitor on XDA which is easy to install.

      • Cheers

  • This would work with the bundle deal too? (20% off if buying one from each category)

    $299.40 for the 40mm bluetooth
    $359.40 for 40mm LTE

    $329.40 for 44mm bluetooth
    $389.40 for 44mm LTE.

Not all variants available. Have to click around between watch colour, band colour and band size before you can proceed with order.

    • which combination was the cheapest?

    • these prices include the $50 discount?

      • +1

No, also have to spend $350 to get the $50 off.

        • for me the 44mm LTE is $461 :(
For some reason i cant login to student, so im using the business one that gives 40% off. Maybe thats why.

          • +1

@Bruno28: Weird, 44mm LTE is $339.40 for me with the $50 off code (Gov portal).

            • @BeerCrisp: thats a really good price. I would buy one for that much.
But $461 for the pro without the $50 is much more to make me commit to one.
I also dont have the $50 coupon, applied for it with 2 emails but nothing arrived. :(

    • Those prices are for the regular Watch 5. Pro costs more.

      • ahhh i thought only the Pro was in 44mm

        • Pro is 45mm, standard is in 40mm and 44mm.

          • @BeerCrisp: yeah i mistaken. I would like the pro as its titanium and larger battery. If i get the discount, I will order one. :)

  • how's battery life on these? heard watch 4 was horrible

    • +1

4 is always on battery saver and click button to see time. no battery issues afterwards:s

  • +2

i still have a samsung gear s3 frontier, only reason i haven't upgrade is cause this has 3-4 day battery life.

i heard the newer models only have 1-1.5 days battery life

anyone know how much battery life the watch 5 pro have?

    • +1

Yours still has 3-4 days? Mine needs charging every night. Would be interested to know your settings.

I also recently bought the watch 5 pro. 1.5 days with AOD on. Haven't used it with AOD off though I read it's in the 3-4 day range.

      • +1

I dont have AOD on, nfc off, I only wear it during work so prob 9-10 hours a day, I take it off when I get home, I don't sleep with it. Maybe that's why mine lasts so long

    • My S3 has about same battery life too. The watch is a tank

  • How long will people be using these watches? 3 years?
Is it basically now 150 bucks a year to have a smart watch?

    • Sell it for at least $100 when you're done with it.

    • +2

my gear s3 frontier is 6 years old now xD

      • Oh that's impressive, how much did you buy it for and is it still decent?

        • +1

I think $350 back then, yes I'm still using it 3-4 day battery life hence why I haven't upgraded yet, cbf charging it every night

          • @vince088: Couldn't agree more! And if you charge every night, no sleep tracking…

  • .. and the poor people that purchased it for $849

  • Goes without saying to make use of this offer you need to have an edu.au email account?

    • Do you have a westpac account? I used that via rewards link and it worked for me.

      • I have a westpac account, but I do not have rewards link with sumsung…

  • Anyone price matched at JB?

    • They generally don't match education store pricing, at least in my experience with them.

  • Picked up the watch 5 Bluetooth 46mm for $330 on Amazon. Was c a great deal

    • Which model was that? I didn't know they made a 46mm?

      • 44mm, apologies

  • Amazing prices for a great smart watch.

  • Wow awesome price to bad i dont have a edu, account anymore. this isnt avalable any other way ?(not westpac customer either )

  • Nice, bought the LTE version. Had $72.10 rewards credit + $50 promo code, makes it even cheaper!

    • Credits from where? Cashback

      • I bought Tab S8 before, and they give you 10% of the purchase price as a credit which you can use to buy another product.

    • How do you use both credit + promo? I tried but the website only let me use one or another

      • +2

Apply the code first in the checkout page, then choose Samsung Rewards credit in the payment page, then Paypal etc.

        • Oops I forgot about the $350 minimum on voucher code. Could have save $20 more :(

    • +1

Great to hear mate! Even better :)

  • Any spare promo code? I am confused which one to get 5 or pro. Any recommendations?
I like to have big battery and not sure about lte

  • Tried 3 different emails (gmail, .edu mail and a throwaway) and haven't received any promo. Called up support and told no agents available due to covid. Not sure what magic people are doing to get this promo code, but if someone has one they aren't using I would be grateful for it.

    • +1

Tried for 2hrs and no luck. Multiple agents of zero help. Finally received an email saying they have the request and will investigate. 2 to 10 days! WTH!

      • +1

Thanks for the info. I imagine they will be sold out by the time it gets resolved but I hope you manage to get your code before then.

      • +1

Okay after spending almost 3hrs on the effort to secure the promo code, I failed to secure it on the weekend. It was however responded to yesterday. Received the code, and made the purchase. Stock was fortunately available.

    • +2

They're useless. Took me over a week and some hassling last time for me. Finally got it after I gave up and purchased without it.
      Which was probably their intent.

      • +1

Thank for confirming, and you're probably right - it was a probably a cheap data harvest trick by Samsung.

  • Could somebody please pm me a spare code?

  • +1

they accept afterpay so ordered one LTE $459.40.

    • Did you use the $50 code

    • Correct me if i am wrong, but the LTE version needs a sim plan. Doesn't it ?

      • Doesn't need, but it can use your existing number through number share/sync from telco.
If you don't signup for it, just use like a bluetooth watch

      • Only if you decide you want your LTE watch to make and receive calls through 4G/LTE away from your mobile (No BT Connection) and say leave your mobile at home or in the car say when one goes for a jog,. otherwise the LTE version still has BT

And yes one number only $5 a month

    • Great to hear mate!

  • I broke my active watch 2
.can I request for loyalty voucher and use it?

    • I was told loyalty vouchers don't work on EPP/Edu stores

      • Thats correct.

        • sonic2011 confirmed they used the code successfully on edu or epp store.

          • @rski: Thats $50 newsletter subscription code. Loyalty codes are different and now these only work on normal Samsung online store, as prices on EPP/EDU stores are already discounted.

            • @OZBsince2018: What's the difference? I'm talking about the one where you sign up to marketing BS with you email address.

              • @rski: Email signup is $50. Loyality is when you contact them saying youa re a loyal customer and if they can give you a discount coupon.

They gave some for phones earlier this year.

  • Would love a code if someone has one spare! Pm me please

  • Hi guys if someone can pm a spare code that would be great. Thanks!

    • Hi guys can someone pm a spare code? Thanks!

  • Has anyone successfully used the $50 voucher on the Govt EPP store for the Watch 5 Pro? Wondering if will even work so we're not wasting time on a useless code.

    • +2

      I used it…

    • What is EDS?

      • $100 voucher used in the main store, I was asking the chat for newsletter and they gave me that instead :(
