First time I've seen it discounted.

Glory Hainanese Kaya with Honey is a sweet and creamy coconut jam. The delicious, sweet and creamy spread is suitable for toasts and pastries or topped on glutinous rice as a dessert. It is sweetened with honey. It is often referred to as a superfood for some of its amazing health benefits.

Edit: Looks like they're price matching Woolworths: https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/827008/glo…

  • Good timing, bought!! I was just thinking about kaya today….

  • Absolutely love kaya despite not really being a breakfast person.

  • +1

Interesting, might grab a single jar from woolies as a trial

    • You will be in love…

      • as good as those traditional malaysian Kaya?

  • Also same price everyday in Woolies, if your local store stocks it. Cheaper than most Asian grocery stores.

    gone

omg very hard to snag a deal lately. from tesla car, underwear, monitor to kaya spread - all gone in a flash

    • Tesla - let me know when Elon steps down…

    • Anything Pandan reigns supreme

    • $3.98 is pretty good. Shipping kills it though unless I buy $80 worth for free shipping

Biggest tip, you toast 2 slices of thick white bread (without the Kaya). Then once done, put Kaya on one slice, butter on the other. Be generous. No need to thank me later.

      This.

If you toast with the kaya it will smell eggy

I reckon cheap price due to very short expiry date. Probably less than 3 months. Amazon should state the expiry date on their advertisement.

    • will not last a week anyways in my household.

Toasted white bread with butter and kaya - coupled with a thick black coffee - breakfast of champions

  • Lots of different brands out there - anyone tried this before?

    • Yes, imo this is the best. I only get the Pandan version, only made with coconut milk, sugar, egg and Pandan. No added preservatives, color or flavor. Sweet level is just right.

    • This one is good. Both honey and normal version are delicious. Just a personal preference.

  • Have lived in SE for the first half of my life but never seen one sweetened with Honey as it's already made of eggs and sugar. Can someone comment later if it's too sweet?

    • It taste almost the same. Both are as sweet.

  • I prefer Yeo's but it doesn't seem to be as popular and is also never discounted.

  • I should not be surprised that there are many kaya connoisseurs on OZB. Great deals, kaya, butter and toast go well together. Also kopi-kau.

  • I bought a homemade one recently but only ate it once and threw it out as it was extremely eggy. I do love a good pandan kaya though.

  • Available again on back order
