If LED, isn't the battery more likely to die before the LEDs?
Good point
I bought this one few years ago from Bunnings and exactly same one with different brand "click" and it was cheaper than 20.
Anyway, really good device and very bright led as well. I really loved it.
However, it has a micro usb port and the port did not last long. Apart from the port, this is very sturdy and reliable.
Speaker works very well and it also charges other devices as well.If the port can be treated well, this would not let you down for sure.
I also bought it during a bunnings clearance. I havn't had the charge port fail yet. For the price it's good. Speaker quality is average at best. Light is good and you can charge other devices off it.
I have something similar, same frame, from a 3rd party and the micro USB port also was the first thing to break (the inner cable sliding out and breaking from the outer cover). Battery life was also half or less of what was stated and the last 30mins to one hour it would be discernibly fainter.
How many months/years did you use it for before the micro USB port broke? Were you still able to use the light after the port broke, or did you have to throw it out?
You can still use it without any issues even if the port is broken and my one did not last a year because people at my jobsite did not take good care of it.
If you use it with care, it should have no issue at all. Mine died completely when I tried to open it to fix the port. The port did not look like I can fix.. I really liked this one.
Can you please clarify, did the charging port completely stop working, or it did that thing that micro USB did where the port degraded over time to the point where a slight breeze would knock out the charging cable? I just fail to see how the device could still be used without issue if the charging port completely stopped working.
@SiliconBased: This is what i am confused about as well.
I bought the Infinity X1 from Costco in July for $20 and I'm happy with it.
Has USB-C in, comes as a pair for stereo Bluetooth connection and is also a powerbank. Not sure how long it will last though in terms of when it will die.
Lights are great
Battery is okay
Speaker is crap
Does anyone own this? What's the total lifespan, in hours, of the actual leds before they burn out?
