Panasonic arc 5 shaver with charge and cleaning station. It seems to be the best price so far for Australian stock.
This is part of shaver shop cyber deal.
Currently $379 on Amazon AU.

Ah good to know. How easy is it to clean? Do you use the clean cycle after every shave?
I rarely use the cleaning system, just under tap, does a good enough job. Never seen the need to do any real clean cycle, under tap, can use soap or there is a good philips cleaning agent at Harvey norman (liquid) can use with the cleaning system as well.
The shaver cleans really easily as xximmortalxx describes, and I'd recommend that.
I used the cleaning station daily on mine, with original detergent sachets. After about 6 months, it developed a revolting smell, which I still haven't been able to properly clean out of the station. Station requires disassembly to fully clean, which just doesn't seem worth it to me.
That said, great shaver, and this price is fantastic!
Is it the same one $219 on Amazon, plus the clean & charge station?
new link (not the Amazon link jumped from Google shopping) :)
Yup, but no cleaning station
200 on eBay, with no cleaning station and no discount..
The only thing that would concern me with eBay / PayPal is after 6 months you are alone to deal with the manufacture with warranty claims (if something goes wrong). There is 3.5% cash back (Shop Back) bring it to ~$212ish, plus 6.5% off GC on shop back with Amazon, which should make the price similar. Personally, I would buy Amazon as it's around the same price and Amazon itself is insurance (as in free returns, even after 1+ year). I just returned a laptop with 1-year warranty that died 2 years after purchase (they don't give a shit). I believe this razor would have 2-year warranty, so Amazon is likely a better option. Also, for normal warranty claims, most companies make you pay shipping both ways, hence I referred to amazon as "insurance".
@Froot Loops: Wow. I've never returned anything via Amazon. The laptop you returned that was 1-year warranty, how did you get them to give you warranty on it? Was it Amazon directly that you returned it to, or was it purchased from a 3rd party seller?
@Ice009: From Amazon US sold by Amazon US. It was a Lenovo flex and the hinges give way after time (design flaw) and just explained to them that even if I was to reactivate my warranty (Lenovo allows this after it expires), it wouldn't be covered anyway as Lenovo AU, won't touch the US flex range. I also stated the failure started during the warranty period and I had just left it in a draw since). The guy on chat said that fine and as I live outside of a parcel point (I think that what the company is called) zone, just return via AusPost and upload my docket and they added the return expense onto my refund. I do buy a lot from Amazon, but expect it to last more than 12 months for an $850ish machine.
I've returned now maybe less than 50 items out of about 1000 items purchased and I really don't think Amazon give a crap it you shop all the time. The customer support (although went downhill a few months back) is still much better than anywhere else
The shield in mine broke after some light usage and the replacement cost almost the price of the unit. I am now move away from this and use a razor blade instead.
The blade costs 110+, I’m wondering when you need to replace blade, do you tend to buy a new shaver instead?
I vaguely recall seeing the replacement Blades for this for $80. On sale perhaps??
I have a slightly older model (I think its 5-6 years old) and I don't use it daily (2-3 times a week) and have only replaced the foil once (my fault for violent cleaning), but the blades are still perfect. I honest have no idea how long these blades are supposed to last, but it wouldn't be something I would worry about. The foil (top part that goes against skin), will likely be the thing needing replacement with normal use, from what I read. I would like to see what others have to say on this as maybe I have had an unusual experience with my electric shaver (it was my first and only).
nice shaver, got one earlier at @390, a steal at this price! Works very well, though battery needs more frequent charging over time with increase usage - but worth it. Shave head n face xD
