Wouldn't exactly call 46 liters 'compact' haha
Would you not call a reduction from 70litres to 46litres a compact version?
"Compact Torrent" would have been more grammatically apt: the adjective is in the wrong place as it is modifying the "Black Dark Tempered Glass Mid Tower Case" and not the model name.
Currently, without knowing there is another larger variant, the product title does lead one to believe this is a compact mid-tower, and not a compact Torrent case — hence Merlict's comment.
It's not a modifier explicitly though. It's a name of a product. It's the 'Torrent Compact'.
Edit: If it said 'Compact Mid Tower' the previous comment would make more sense, but it's not modifying 'mid tower case', just the name.
@filmer: No, grammatically speaking it is modifying the word "case" and that is my point. Adjectives precede nouns in the Royal Order of Adjectives. In this instance, "Torrent" and "Case" are the two nouns, therefore "compact", "black", "dark tempered glass" and "mid tower" are the series of adjectives modifying the noun "case" (i.e. size, colour, material and qualifier in the aforementioned Royal Order of Adjectives — whether "mid tower" is a size or qualifier is debatable and besides my point, just like whether "dark tempered glass" is the material). Thus, the title is grammatically misleading — hence Merlict's comment.
Your argument is predicated on the assumption that the person knows that the product name is "Torrent Compact". From the title, this is not obvious considering that one cannot tell which words form proper nouns to then derive a product name.
Excellent case, only 3 drawbacks from my experience:
- GPU length cannot fit most of the 40 series so far
- Only one HDD slot (if using long psu then none)
- Cable management at the back could be quite painful especially when the psu cables are the thick boi
Building in this case (non RGB) I found the cable management fine but could see the RGB version with the tempered glass on the right side making it harder to build in.
There is the HDD cage on the PSU section which also helps for cable management, and I have a semi modular 1000w corsair PSU in it with no issues fitting it all.
Also, there are 3 SSD slots on the right side of the case on top of this.
One of the best cases on the market. Great find!
