I just came to post this! I have some already, but these are so great that I want another pair! I highly recommend them!

  • +2

Might want to update it from 'Noise Cancellation' to 'Noise Isolation'. They are considerably different.

    • +1

      Ty done.

    • +3

      Its tomorrow from 2pm

    • +3

It's tomorrow. One hour deal. 2-3pm

EDIT: Damn, snipered by revolushenary :P

      • +3

Thanks, just noticed and went to delete my post. You guys are too quick :P

  • +27

so the server is going to go down at 2pm tomorrow.

    • +1

      It will now.

    • most likely…

    • +12

Pretty much. I'd suggest people should hold off voting for this until they actually got a pair from mwave.

    • +2

I'm going to go outside and watch the synthetic grass grow instead!

    • Yep they have an update scheduled already

  • hahaha yes its tomorrow.. today its 20$

    • +7

Are you a rep for Mwave? If so, how much stock do you have? Or are you just doing another Dick Smith 'Sale'?

      • +11

Bumped! how much do you have? or you just being a dick….smith

  • +2

How many do they have in stock though? That's the big question

  • +4

i wouldnt get my hope up.

If it is like last time it will be a lottery with mwave.
    But hey its free.

    • Hey no cashback this time ;)

    • +6

Oh yes, I remember so well, it's fresh in the mind.
Sat at the PC for over an hour, finally secured "free" router and was jubilant only to wake up following day to discover Mwave had reneged on deal and cancelled "coz their system couldn't handle it" READ << we only had 2 products in stock to begin with>>.
Don't trust these guys, all they want is your contact details begorrah!!!

  • +1

Ah crap, I'm stuck in a movie theater between 2 and 3pm tomorrow :(

    • Dw I posted this because I would be out too, no biggie, think about it if you really needed earphones you'd fork out the $20 haha, no win no loss situation :)

      • +7

But being a true OzBargainer, I will mull over the lost chance of getting a freebie for months to come…. I think I should go see a shrink.

        • +7

Only if the shrink is half price via scoopon.

    • +2

+1 for calling it a movie theatre!

      • +1

        I just realised I've been Americanised…

    • First world problems :)

  • +2

Good luck…people seem to forget this!?

  • +8

Are they need test their sever again?

    • +1

For a cost price of a handful (or a dozen) of UE100s to get some metrics, it's worth it. Good PR too - no-one can legitimately complain about missing out on a freebie - a no loss proposition.

      • +1

No … see the link on POWERevolution's comment.
People can complain that their time was wasted, the ordering process isn't working well, etc

    • Of course the famous 'test server' is part of the act. E-mail harvesting never goes out of fashion.

  • +2

Rushing to vote for this is a bad idea. It could be one of those COTD 'bargains' where only the first few people get the item.

    • +1

Agreed, vote for it when you received deliver tracking number!

      • I don't think ppl vote for deals after they've placed an order. They vote if they think it's a bargain. If it turns dud after we are all free to retract.

        • then you loss your chance to -neg :)
see free router link i posted above!

        • Then it was a bargain but the website sucked. No +.

        • Can we actually retract a pos? I tried once, didn't seem to work…

        • Click the votes tab on the top left and remove your vote there

      • vote for it when you received deliver tracking number

        +1

  • +6

I already know how this is going to turn out. Just like that free router a few months back. DDoS. Took 45 mins to finally get order submitted, they took my money through paypal but the site crashed before the order could be confirmed. They canceled the order but didn't refund my money and I had to chase it up.

Not going to +1 this deal. There could be only 10 of them to give away for all we know.

    • There could be only 10 of them to give away for all we know.

      or less!

      • +2

        or more

All our bases are covered…..and belong to us's.

    • Except this time there's no money to be paid.

      • +1

but your time 45mins+ is more than the actual item!

        • You try for however long it's worth to you and if you don't get it in that time you don't get it.

If you choose to spend 45mins+ in your attempt to get it, then…

        • -1

          Not if you're unemployed

    • +1

This time,i think they don't have any stock, because they even don't want wasting their staff time to refund to you.

  • those a truly awful looking but how could one not at least be tempted to try score some haha

    • You're right. They do look awful. Strange choice of colours.

  • I wouldn't bother with Mwave.. The website will crash and you will never get one..

    • +5

Then don't… Leave more server space for those who want to try.

  • +4

This could only end in tears

    • +26

But if you're lucky it could end in 'ears' (boom boom tish).

      • Yeh don't worry about your pun.

      • nice!

  • Is that 2-3pm AEST? Anyone know?

    • Yup 2-3pm in NSW which I suppose is AEST

      • -2

What about for Tasmanians, since they're not really part of Australia..?

    • +11

      Seriously dude?

      • -8

Thats the price on the web now. I dont know about "From 2-3pm on the 5/7 Thursday"… Hope for the best.

    • +3

It's only free for people with brains.

    • +1

Comprehension and reading skills FAIL :-D

      • +2

At the risk of getting negged in a wholesale manner….there are some really stupid people who visit this site……think about some of the stupid comments and attempts by some people over the past 3 years that I have been visiting this site.

        • +1

Well, sometimes what looks like stupid is just "lazy" or even "busy"…

  • +2

You guys asking for a DDOS attack from Ozbargain?

    • +1

More like it WILL be a DDOS with tonnes of people trying to snatch one of them up.

      • That's what he meant

  • -3

Cost $12.75 for delievery a bit too much don't you think

  • +2

Deal's tomorrow but looks like the server stress test started today.

  • -2

    Wow,great deal.Free is cheap.

    • +1

i see what you did there :)

      • +1

        heh..me too

"Do you speaka any engalish? You understand the words that are comin' outa my mouth!?"

        • +1

You seem as if you like to talk. I like to let people talk who like to talk. It makes it easier to find out how full of shit they are!

        • What the hell did you just say? "I let people talk, blah blah blah"

          http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKHqjJIdM2w

  • I know it is free and a good set (I own a few UE's), but can I say these aren't exactly going to up the street cred.

Were these designed by a J. Beiber?

    • +3

I thought you can only get street cred by wearing a pair of Beats by Dr Dre MD.

      • yuck

  • +2

I was getting all amped up for tomorrow until I saw a picture. I can see why they are giving them away now! I'm out.

    • Don't judge it by it's looks! They are great headphones!

    • +1

Oh c'mon. You don't want anyone driving a forklift into your ears by accident, do you? :)

  • +1

this is like a IQ test. who-can-read and who-can-not!
