Is there any difference between Nike womens and mens running shoes? Can I just order the equivilent mens size and it will be basically the same? It looks the same…
EDIT: with some research it shows there are subtle differences in weight, amount of padding, flexibility and shape but overall it is still suitable.
Generally, women will need to size down by when getting men's shoes. It depends on the model of the shoe but usually women will need to size down by 1.5 units in terms of U.S. sizing standards if getting the men's version. e.g. If a woman usually wears a size 9 then they will need to get a 7.5 for men's shoes. The reverse of course applies to men.
women's shoes are typically narrower but i usually just buy whatever's cheaper. men's shoes seem to work fine for me, since i have a wider forefoot.
