Hi all.
My elderly neighbour is on the lookout for something very simple that will let her browse the web.
She needs essentially no HD space, nor a modern GFX card. Her entire use case is YouTube, Google, and Hotmail.
She asked me about Chromebooks but I really haven't got much experience with them.
The cheaper the better, but there's no real limit on price.
Please let me know if I've left out something important.

Sounds like an iPad would cover all her needs and provide a better browsing experience than a laptop.

there is also a $249 one although I do not know how it performs
I moved from my macbook air to lenovo duet 5. It's definitely getting more use now and I love that I can detach the keyboard.
But I would have gone for the Duet 3 if it was out at the time (it is now), think I saw it go for $399 on Ozb recently, can't go wrong.
