I priced matched this at office works and got an extra %5 off.. total price came to $1024. Not bad for a laptop with a 22nm i7 ivy Quadcore and 28nm GTX650m Kepler Latest gen gaming card 2GB :) This is a good "gaming" laptop for the price. The GTX650m plays BF3 on high, reviews and youtube videos all show it to be a very powerful card. Also eligible for a $14 upgrade to windows 8
I will be putting in a 256GB SSD and using it to play Guild Wars 2 that comes out in a month and a few weeks.

      The reviews show it does play BF3 on high detail, 1366 x 768 isnt very demanding.

    And 6GB, unpaired memory means it ALL runs at half speed.

      The rez isnt the best but it helps games run at native without taxing the GPU

      As for the RAM, It probably is running dual channel. Notebook chipsets have been able to do it with mis-matched RAM for a while. Have a work notebook that has 1x1GB & 1x2GB and CPUz reports dual channel is enabled.

    brought this laptop about 3 weeks ago from Office Work for $975.08 by price match JB HIFI when they have 20% off their Samsung laptop. Great laptop for gaming and currently playing witcher 2 at high setting which run great but its can get hot near the ventilation area. Can upload receipt if anyone required.
