  • can I price match at JB?

    • Yes as long as it’s sold by Amazon Au

      • thanks

I just price matched at JB and paid $34.45 with the extra $10 discount from perks. They said they'll price match as long as it's Amazon Australia and no shipping cost. Let me know if u need the receipt.

      • Tried this morning at JB.
        Refused.
the staff said it is NOT sold by Nintendo.
Do not want to argue, so I give up directly. :)
        I will buy from Amazon.

That's odd. I have done price matches based off Amazon Au before. You probably spoke to someone new

I loved this game. I completed it with my 6 year old son. It's such a brilliant game that gets better the further you get into it.

    • Tell me, how did you and your son rationalise the elephant scene?

      That scene broke me.

He called child protection services on me.
Not really, his mate at school told him before that it was really sad so he was prepared for it. He didn't seem too bothered at all.

      • I played it with my best friend then just do chapter select with my 7yo and 4yo. Found some of the jumping and bosses frustrated them. When we got to the scene where we start talking before she realises we want to kill her. I paused it and said to him we are going to kill her, would you like to skip to another level? He asked why are we going to do that (downside of missing scenes, some of which were played through by his brother instead). I explained we believed we needed to make the girl cry to free us from the clay. He thought about it for a couple seconds then decided to skip it.

I also really like how you can instant jump to any minigame using the menu & you can keep playing through like normal from that point if you wish. The chess mini game blew me away. I tried to see if I could break it castling, en passe etc but nope.

You need 2 separate controllers to play. I tried to figure out how to play offline with my wife and it didn't work out until you buy another pair

    • So a pair of joycon plus a pro controller will work?

      • +1

Yes, a cheap third party one will also do the work.

  • I considered buy or not but I found it in XBOX Game Pass. Just bought XSS today! Anyway, thanks!

  • great game. story is a bit cringe tho

    • Personally I loved the story. It was easy to follow and fun. As someone who has never had a dating relationship without toxic aspects in it (unhealthy people are great at attaching to other unhealthy people), so many of their arguments, deflections and barbed jabs; had me laughing going "yep Ive been there".

  • Incredible game. Make sure you suss out reviews. I originally wanted to buy this after I loved my ps4 copy. I read an article where the devs were saying cause the levels are so interactive the switch cant handle processing the large amount of items at once so no plans were in development to port it across. Cool if they found a way around it. They do an amazing job so It def possible.
