Por que no los dos?
PG42UQ
The 42" C2 on sale right now. There's no difference in input lag, you're just missing out on the DP 1.4 ports.
If you are putting it on a desk of 1M or less depth get the C2 42"
Anyone own this? Curious how much the lack of BFI hurts it on 60 hz content.
BFI 60Hz is great if you can tolerate the flicker and darker image. You can't really compare BFI on vs off at 60Hz, the difference is massive on moving images, but it has disadvantages like the flicker and brightness. At 120Hz on the low or medium setting it's near perfect but that's only in C1 or older.
All in all, would you take this over the C1 or CX for 60 Hz content with their better BFI? Or go with the higher brightness from the newer models with worse/no BFI like this one? Mostly for low light to dark pc gaming.
Seems 14% cashback from cashrewards for LG now,
Another cheaper option is FO48U from gigabytes, was $1099 in april, now around $1450.
The 48GQ900 has very low sustained brightness in SDR for APL more than 25%. The PG42UQ works much better in that regard, as it has a uniform brightness mode that can hold close to 200 nits in SDR up to 100% APL.
Novice question:
This or the c2 tv also from LG
