  • This vs the Samsung Shield @ $158?

    • +1

The Samsung has double the speed with a shock and water resistant casing, likely more reliable too. I'd pick the T7 Shield if I were you, especially if you are fairly portable and transport it around often.

      • It's an m2 SSD surrounded in plastic casing. The sammy one is 61.22% more costly. This one already has a 3 year warranty. Marketplace value is almost zero dollars, maybe HJ app deal lunch money value, if you're lucky.

So I'd go with the Sandisk here.

FYI yes this drive is shuckable and contains a M.2 2280 SATA SSD inside so a good shuck for older computers that only accept M.2 SATA drives.

  • Thanks, will grab one 👍

  • Has anyone tested the actual read/write speeds and can report?
