Decent prices for the Rockwell 6C and 2C adjustable safety razors. I have been eyeing the 6C for a while and I believe this is a historical low.
Rockwell Model T also available for $109.50 delivered (was $219)
I bought 4 years ago a cheap Gillette double-Edge razor, around 15 bucks in total. Still working. I believe, sometimes you just pay for the brand, the lifestyle and the „fancy“ thing … and Gillette is not even that good.
Absolutely and that's why the saying "you get what you pay for" is ridiculous and vendors take advantage of it being parroted everywhere. Sure, it can be hard to find quality at lower prices but paying high prices is no guarantee of quality.
Bought a Rockwell 6C from Ministry of Shave a few years back and it only lasted 18 months before the thread wore and could no longer be tightened. Emailed support at Ministry of Shave and got sympathy but no replacement.
No such issue with Merkurs which are FAR better quality - the price difference is well justified in my view.
