I bought these Wahl Extreme Grip Pro Cordless Clipper last time as it was the ozbargain favourite back in the day, but after a year of using it on myself and my kids, I can say they suck because it pulls my kid's hair instead of cutting them and I end up with crying kids who are now afraid of getting haircuts. I've tried them on myself too and it definitely pulls hair out instead of cutting them. i.e. it was not a great set of clippers.
I know this one is corded, but I've been using my cordless one connected to mains power because it does a much cleaner cut because there's more power vs the battery only after a year.
This Clipper seems like a good value for my use case (i.e. happy with corded for consistent power, cheap and not pulling hair out especially on the kids) plus it comes with a beard trimmer that I'll most probably sell on Facebook marketplace. It's also highly rated on Amazon and Google and I've read through the reviews and watched some youtube videos of people using this clipper and from what I can tell I haven't seen anybody complain about the clipper pulling hair out which is my biggest peeve with previous clippers.
Anyways, I've ordered one for myself and thought people who've been using the Wahl Extreme Grip Pro Cordless Clipper from last bargain might want an upgrade. I'm hoping these are better clippers and my research indicates they will be.
I would skip the Chinese ones and get the ones made in the US.
That was the advise I got last year
