100% agree purchased lasted year when was on special after people commented that it was the Tuffy equivalent. After using them wouldn't buy again definitely not even close to as good as the Tuffy ones.
I can confirm the "ply" fall apart easily.
Good way to look at it is that nothing can disappoint us more after COVID.
Sad way to look at it is that we cannot even produce paper towel properly!
Quality is a bit of hit and miss with these
So they still havent fixed it? It used to be equivalent, i was under the impression we had a bad batch last year. If its still happening with a new batch we'll go back to Tuffy.
Expensive! Wait for BLACK FRIDAY!
CCC shows that these have been below $14 before June. Am I missing something?
Have a feeling the listing has been changed from 12 pack to 24 pack. $14 was the regular price for 12 rolls.
Bought the 12 pack for $7.47 in June.
Inflation
Was randomly $12.50 at checkout..?
You must have had a $10 credit on your a count. Check the order and it will tell you.
I've purchased this couple of times… First time around was great but the second time one layer is completely separated and the quality is nothing close to what it used to be…
I thought it was just me. Their QA has gone down as initially it was pretty good.
I've had no problems with these, always been thick and good
"Had"
Purchased previously, wouldn’t again. Sheets fall apart very easily.
Not a bargain
Shit deal, it used to be cheaper.
It's for kitchen use
I've seen the bog roll you keep on top of the microwave
Not a bargain. camelcamelcamel says been as low as $8.30 in July 21 and as high as $25
Check the reviews. The Amazon listing used to be for a 12-pack and was updated to a 24-pack this year so those low prices from the past would have been for a 12-pack.
You are right though that it's not much of a bargain as this appears to be the standard price for the 24-pack.
$68 now
I just bought this from amazon. Supposed to be similar to Tuffy. Looks the same, but the layer splits and its no where as tough too.
Tears quite easily.
