They add a margin to you, then they also add a margin to the food retailer skimming some of their profit eventually causing some of them to fail.
If you like your local food joint and want to see them stick around, do them a favour and buy direct.
I can pick up a certain dish bought directly at my local restaurant for $22.
Using this code I can pick up the same dish for $10.80. Menulog is selling it for $26 but the restaurant has a 20% off special offer which can be stacked with this $10 code.
That is 51% off. Big savings can be had. You just have to look for them.

Waited 40mins for food. Order was marked as delivered without notice. No contact from driver and food nowhere to be seen.
Had to reach out to chat support and 20mins later was promised a refund within 10 days.
What a waste of time. Menulog should blacklist these drivers..
Yep last 2 times I used Menulog a year ago this happened to me, shame Deliveroo have gone as their platform is much better and the food actually arrived!

The order was exactly $20 for a grilled fish and chips lunch box including a dim sim and a potato cake discounted to $10. The menu price if ordered in-store would have been $14.30 so that's a 40% markup.
I still saved $4.30 so it's a bargain.

Yes. I requested 6pm pick up and I received "Ready for pick up" message at around 5:55pm. When I picked up I satisfied the food was very hot and tasty.

Ordered 2.5 hours earlier and order was still 15 minutes late, the driver even apologized before I said anything. You can't even call these guys over the phone anymore, what a joke!.
We were sent our meal missing one mains tonight.
i rang the restaurant and they admitted it was sent with the wrong delivery and said to pick up the replacement item when I come past
I said to refund me or just send the item to us yet they said they can't deliver it for free.
