  5800X is a bad deal unless it is cheaper than the 5700X

  105W TDP with no cooler vs 5700X 65W TDP + bundled cooler + $30 cheaper

    5700x isn't bundled with a cooler, AFAIK. Amazon link states "Cooler not included".

    Thermals are MUCH BETTER on 5700X. The 100hz difference is not noticable in real world applications. If you can get a 5700X cheaper, that's what i'd pick. Just mho.
    As OP states, mobo's are a hell of a lot cheaper than new gen.

  Damn! Maybe I should switch out my 3900X for one if prices drop any further. Amazon AU has it for $389 atm.
