Up to 40% off Site Wide - Men's and Women's Bamboo Underwear @ Step One

100

Pretty great deal on some pretty great underwear.

There does appear to be a base discount on single pairs of $5 for both men and women, from $33 down to $27.99 for standard colours, and $34 down to $28.99 for the patterns.
There are additional discounts for buying multiple pairs normally, for the Black Friday Sale they have increased this discount.
Buy 4 Pairs - Save 20%
Buy 7 Pairs - Save 30%
Buy 15 Pairs - Save 40%

This means pairs can be as low as $12.99 each.
This would mean the percentage discount, would be based on the lower price you already get when buying multiple pairs normally.
In the cart it will clearly tell you how much each pair is costing with the discount applied as you go.

If you have a partner, or housemates, or friends you want to buy together with, you can get to 15 pretty easily (you can mix and match sizes, etc. the quantity of pairs is the only part that matters)

This also looks to include the thermals if you were inclined to buy those.
All orders also include Free Shipping Australia Wide.

If you're not familiar with Step One, they are made from Bamboo Viscose, and also have UltraGlyde panels on the inner thigh to stop chafing and also stop the boxers/trunks riding up. All the various details and benefits are on the website, but I can say from my personal experience that they are very comfortable, and I haven't had any issues with riding or chafing.

They also have inclusive sizes, Men's up to 6XL, Women's up to 4XL
The other thing that I quite like about them is they are ethically made, and they also have a focus on sustainability, all packaging is compostable, and they have details of the processes on the website.

You can also try them, and if you don't like them, they have a 30 Day First Pair Guarantee. So you can try your first pair and if you get the size wrong or ultimately don't like them, you can return all unopened pairs and exchange them for a different size/style (they will also replace the one you tried, you just don't send that back), or get a refund on all of them.

No code required for the Black Friday Sale, though it can't be combined with any other promotion or coupon.

Details for the First Pair Guarantee can be found in the FAQ, amongst other details:

I've had a lot of bad luck with these. I ordered some in the past and none of them have lasted more than 8-12 weeks of regular (2+ days a week) use without getting holes on the bamboo viscose right along the seam of the Lycra panel.

Strange, had mine for over 2 years with no issues at all. They may have changed since I bought them

I’m the same. I’ve killed one pair, by getting them caught on a door knob while doing the laundry and ripping a hole in them through my own oblivious stupidity. The rest are all in pretty great condition despite daily wear.

I lost a bunch of weight and had to get new ones in a different size. The old ones went into my garage rag bag and they’re still basically perfect except for the ones I’ve cut up.

I haven’t had the new size ones for super long - but they seem after a couple of months.

      • Same here, bought 15 pairs in 2020, I've only opened 9 and they are still going strong
Have been waiting for another deal to get more, but I'm reluctant now if their quality have changed..

        Edit: Typo

My older ones outlasted my newer ones. I'm thinking they've changed something at some point.

Been looking for something better that caters to the more rotund gentleman.

    • I did have one pair that had some issues with the elastic waist band which tbh I've just kept forgetting to chase up - but they do say they cover for 12 months for any manufacturer defects. If you have had some problems, it might be worth reaching out, you never know: [email protected]

Have a pair, and also have similar bamboo ones from Kmart.
No idea why you'd pay step one prices unless you really needed/wanted their colour selection.

    • +1

Or the plus sizes, since kmart ones only go to 2xl

    • Is it the same supplier?

      • +1

The last picture in the listing shows a 'Step One' logo along the waistband

        Also the listing title is

best underwear for sweat men bamboo fabric CUSTOM OEM Australia famous brand supplier 3d crotch panel perfect bamboo underwear

      • Is it the same supplier just shifting the units that didn’t pass quality control and is saving $5 a pair (before shipping) worth dealing with that?

I ended up moving away from StepOne. Found they were wearing quite thin in under a year. (Had plenty on rotation).

Switched to Tradie and they seem to be lasting better. But the styling isn’t quite as comfortable or as nice looking to me.

Not impressed with the ladies ones. The legs roll up and the waist rolls down. They need to have a cotton gusset. Expensive for what they are but it’s hard to find women’s bamboo undies.

  • I just wanna say I bought 7 pairs of them in March 2019 and I'm still wearing them. A couple have holes in them now, so I will need some more, but that's insane to me that they have lasted approx 1,340 days!

I'd support this company again if they are the same quality as they used to make.
